China’s e-cigarette exports to Indonesia reached US$7.43 million in August, up 20.14% month on month

In August, China exported approximately $7.43 million worth of e-cigarettes to Indonesia, representing a month-on-month increase of 20.14% and a year-on-year increase of 5.42%.
According to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, the statistics for August 2023 regarding e-cigarette exports to Indonesia are as follows:

The export value was approximately $7.43 million, with a month-on-month increase of 20.14% and a year-on-year increase of 5.42%.

The export volume was 112,792 kilograms, approximately 113 tons, with a month-on-month increase of 33.97% and a year-on-year increase of 22.97%.

The export price was $65.86 per kilogram, with a month-on-month decrease of 10.32% and a year-on-year decrease of 14.27%. Among them, the average price for "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporization devices" was $7.19 per unit.

According to Statista's data forecast, the revenue of Indonesia's e-cigarette market is expected to reach $400 million in 2023, with an estimated annual growth rate of 2.77% (CAGR from 2023 to 2028). In terms of per capita consumption of e-cigarettes, it is expected to reach $1.77 per capita in Indonesia in 2023. Due to a young population, increasing disposable income, and a lack of strict regulations, Indonesia's e-cigarette market is rapidly growing.
