Building a Diverse Corporate Culture: BAT Nigeria Appoints New Female Executive

British American Tobacco Nigeria has appointed Kikelomo as Market Deployment Director for the West and Central Africa cluster, making her the second woman on the company’s leadership team.

According to a recent report by Nigeria’s Daily Post, BAT Nigeria announced that Kikelomo Fisayo-Okusanya has been promoted from Area Head of Marketing Operations to Market Deployment Director for the West and Central Africa (WCA) cluster, making her the second woman to join BAT West and Central Africa’s leadership team. 

Kikelomo joined BAT Nigeria in 2003 and began building her career in an evolving market environment. She now brings 20 years of extensive experience and also served as Area Head of Consumer Marketing in 2016. By 2021, as a multinational company operating in more than 180 markets, BAT regarded diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as a key organizational asset. 

Commenting on her appointment, General Manager Yarub Al-Bahrani said:
