Leadership Change at JTI Malaysia: Yahaya Succeeds Xu Meiling as Managing Director

Japan Tobacco International Malaysia (JTI Malaysia) has appointed Juliana Mohd Yahaya as the new Managing Director effective October 1.

According to The Edge Malaysia, JTI Malaysia has appointed Juliana Mohd Yahaya as the new Managing Director effective October 1.  

Yahaya will succeed Khoo Bee Leng, who has worked at the company for 30 years.  

JTI Malaysia stated, "Yahaya has extensive experience in various leadership positions at Japan Tobacco International (JTI) global headquarters and in different markets."  

Yahaya joined JTI Malaysia in 2000, holding various roles in marketing and sales. She has also worked at JTI's Geneva headquarters and has extensive experience in leadership positions across Asia and Europe. Since 2020, Yahaya has been responsible for the Belgium and Luxembourg markets.

The company expressed its gratitude to Khoo Bee Leng for her loyal service and leadership, wishing her a happy retirement. Khoo has served as Managing Director since January 1, 2021.
