Turkish Customs Seize 7,500 Packs of Smuggled E-Cigarettes

In an operation carried out by enforcement teams from the Turkish Ministry of Trade Customs, a passenger flying from Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, to Adana Airport in Turkey was placed under close surveillance. After the foreign passenger arrived at Adana Airport, officers seized 7,500 packs of e-cigarette products from the passenger’s suitcase.


The vaping products are estimated to be worth about 1.05 million lira. The Adana Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into the case, and the suspect has been detained.
