VPZ Plans to Open 15 New Stores by the End of 2023 and Launch a Vape Recycling Service
The UK's leading vape retailer VPZ plans to open 15 new stores by the end of 2023, including locations in Cardiff, Aberdeen, and Newcastle Metrocentre, increasing the total number of stores to over 160, making it the largest vape retailer in the UK.
According to recent reports from Insider, VPZ plans to open 15 new stores by the end of 2023, including locations in Cardiff, Aberdeen, and Newcastle. If the plans go smoothly, the total number of VPZ stores will increase to over 160, thus becoming the largest vape retailer in the UK.
Since its establishment in 2012, this Edinburgh-based company claims to have helped over 700,000 smokers in the UK quit smoking.
VPZ's director Doug Mutter stated:
“We plan to open 15 new stores and launch a vape recycling service.”
VPZ has called on local governments in the UK and Scotland to strengthen controls and licensing for the sale of vape products in physical stores and online retail platforms.
Mutter welcomed a consultation meeting regarding a one-time vape ban by Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf and outlined his priorities for the coming year:
“We have urged the Scottish government to take immediate action and follow best practices from countries like New Zealand, requiring physical stores and online retailers to obtain licenses, establish strict age verification frameworks, and consult with adult smokers.”
