In a news release, British American Tobacco announced on September 1 that it will launch eco-friendly packaging for its Dunhill and Kent cigarette boxes, as well as specifically for the heated tobacco product glo's Neo tobacco sticks.
This innovative cigarette box uses eco-friendly paper materials instead of traditional aluminum inner materials, and the inner frame color has also been changed to white to improve recycling classification convenience.
The company explained that they used high-moisture-resistant functional paper that can protect the unique aroma and flavor of the cigarettes from moisture from the manufacturing stage, thus protecting the environment while maintaining high-quality taste.
A relevant person from British American Tobacco stated: "We are fully committed to addressing environmental issues throughout the entire product lifecycle, from production to distribution, consumption, disposal, and recycling." He added: "We will continue to actively implement ESG management and strive to establish a sustainable resource cycle, and we aim to be a leader in this field."
