Russia's minimum pricing policy for e-cigarettes may be postponed to November 1
The head of the Fedotov Group, a Russian tobacco consulting agency, stated that the minimum pricing policy for e-cigarettes is planned to take effect on November 1.<\/p>
According to a report by RIA Novosti on September 1, Evgeny Fedotov, head of the Fedotov Group, stated: “After reviewing by the Fedotov Group, the government announced plans for the minimum pricing policy for e-cigarettes to take effect on November 1.” <\/p>
The agency also clarified that this will affect disposable electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) that contain liquid. Fedotov believes there may be a brief transition period to allow all market participants time to conclude current transactions and adapt to the new prices, as well as to ensure that unlabeled products are eventually removed from shelves.<\/p>
