North Tyneside Seizes £50,000 Worth of Illegal Vaping Products

Highlights: Authorities in North Tyneside, UK, seized 3,000 illegal vaping products worth more than £50,000 (about RMB 460,000).

North Tyneside has seized over £50,000 worth of illegal vaping products, totaling 3,000 devices.

According to a report by planetofthevapes on August 25, North Tyneside has confiscated more than £50,000 (approximately 460,000 RMB) worth of "harmful e-cigarettes," amounting to over 3,000 units. Officers from a neighborhood policing team in North Tyneside collaborated with local authorities to execute a warrant at two addresses on Percy Main Burden Street.

The Northumbria Police stated that "the investigation is ongoing." After seizing the counterfeit products, they warned the public about the dangers of purchasing fake goods: "Counterfeit e-cigarettes pose a real danger to people as they are not produced by licensed companies and contain unknown quantities of chemicals, making them more harmful than regulated e-cigarettes."
