Disposable Vapes Banned From Irish Music Festival

The organizers of the electronic music festival "Electric Picnic" have announced a ban on bringing disposable vapes into the venue.

According to Irish media outlet thejournal on August 28, the organizers of the "Electric Picnic" festival have declared that disposable vapes will not be allowed on site.

Electric Picnic will take place from September 1 to 3 in Stradbally, County Laois, Ireland. The organizers warned ticket holders on social media that any disposable vapes found upon entry will be confiscated.

The festival organizers stated on X (formerly Twitter) that they decided to prohibit the use of these devices on festival grounds to "protect the festival site."

The post read:

"Disposable vapes are made from a mix of materials that make them difficult to recycle, and they can pose dangers if not disposed of properly."
