Aug. 27 - Recently, the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) said that most e-cigarettes sold in Vietnam are smuggled products and that there is no strict legal framework to control such products. Unregulated e-cigarettes will have a significant impact on consumer health and will also lead to a reduction in tax revenues.

Thieu Duong, head of policy and law at the Vietnam Market Surveillance Authority (VMSA), said there is a need for new regulations on e-cigarettes with a legal framework.
