Good News! Shenzhen Bao’an to Grant One-Time Awards to Outstanding E-cigarette Companies for First-H

On August 24, the Bao’an District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Shenzhen issued the Notice on Launching Applications for the Contribution Reward Program for the First Half of 2023. According to the notice, the bureau is now accepting applications for the Contribution Reward Program for the first half of 2023.

Regarding eligibility, the notice states that applicants must be industrial enterprises above designated size that are lawfully conducting actual business operations in Bao’an District in accordance with regulations. E-cigarette companies that have obtained a tobacco monopoly production enterprise license and rank among the top 20 in value-added growth contribution in the first half of 2023 are eligible to apply. The aim is to grant a one-time award to e-cigarette companies that have made outstanding contributions.

on Launching Applications for the Contribution Reward Program

for the First Half of 2023

To all relevant enterprises:

In accordance with the guiding principles of documents including the Successive Policy (II) of Bao’an District on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Advanced Manufacturing and Modern Service Industries (Shen Bao Fu [2023] No. 22), our bureau is now launching the application process for the Contribution Reward Program for the first half of 2023. The relevant notice is as follows:

I. Scope of Support

In accordance with regulations, one-time awards at different tiers will be granted to six categories of enterprises that made outstanding contributions to the development of industrial enterprises above designated size in our district in the first half of 2023.

II. Application Requirements 

1. The enterprise must be an industrial enterprise above designated size that is lawfully conducting actual business operations in Bao’an District in accordance with regulations.

2. The enterprise must meet one of the following conditions:

(1) A chain-leading enterprise with annual output value exceeding RMB 10 billion in the previous year, ranking among the top 6 in output value growth contribution in the first half of 2023;

(2) A leading enterprise with annual output value between RMB 500 million and RMB 10 billion in the previous year, ranking among the top 50 in output value growth contribution in the first half of 2023;

(3) A backbone enterprise with annual output value between RMB 100 million and RMB 500 million in the previous year, ranking among the top 100 in output value growth contribution in the first half of 2023;

(4) A growth enterprise with annual output value below RMB 100 million in the previous year, ranking among the top 100 in output value growth contribution in the first half of 2023;

(5) A newly added industrial enterprise in the statistical database, ranking among the top 30 in output value growth contribution in the first half of 2023;

(6) An e-cigarette company that has obtained a tobacco monopoly production enterprise license, ranking among the top 20 in value-added growth contribution in the first half of 2023.

III. Application Method

This program will adopt an online application process. During the application period, applicants should log in to the Bao’an District Qinqing Government-Enterprise Direct Service Platform (https://qqzq.baoan.gov.cn), search for the relevant program, and complete the required materials online as instructed. No paper materials need to be submitted by enterprises.

IV. Application Period

Online pre-application period: August 23, 2023 to August 29, 2023

Online application period: August 30, 2023 to September 12, 2023

V. Submission of Hard-Copy Materials

Enterprises are not required to submit hard-copy materials.

VI. Important Notes

Our bureau has never entrusted any organization or individual to act as an agent for project applications. Applicants should apply independently. Our bureau will strictly accept applications in accordance with the standards and procedures and will not charge any fees. If any organization or individual uses the name of our bureau or its staff to charge enterprises fees, informed parties are requested to report it to our bureau.
