BAT enters Malaysia with 1,500-puff disposable Vuse GO MAX

The Vuse Malaysia Facebook page, under British American Tobacco, shows that it launched the disposable product Vuse GO MAX in the Malaysian market on July 31. According to the page, Vuse GO MAX offers 1,500 puffs, contains 3% nicotine, and comes in seven flavors: mango, strawberry, mint, blueberry, tobacco, watermelon, and grape.

According to related information, Vuse is currently sold only at convenience stores and gas stations in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, such as 7-Eleven, myNEWS, and Shell. Nationwide, BAT Malaysia’s disposable products are available on online shopping platforms such as Shopee and Lazada. This also marks the official entry of British American Tobacco’s vaping products into the Malaysian market after Malaysia reclassified liquid nicotine as a non-controlled substance in March this year.
It is worth noting that Malaysia’s excise tax amendment targeting e-cigarettes took effect on April 1: e-liquid containing nicotine is subject to an excise tax of 40 sen per milliliter (0.4 Malaysian ringgit, approximately RMB 0.6), although regulations specifically governing e-cigarettes have not yet been formally implemented.
