PMI launches Veev One pod-based product in Italy with 2ml capacity and up to 1,000 puffs
According to reports from Italian new tobacco vertical media, Philip Morris launched a new electronic cigarette product, Veev One, in Italy to enrich its portfolio of non-combustible products and meet the differentiated needs of local consumers. Compared to previous products, Veev One features a more compact and user-friendly design, as well as a new Compact Ceramic heating technology that ensures stable flavor from start to finish.
Additionally, it is equipped with a system that detects e-liquid levels to avoid overheating and prevent a burnt taste. Compared to the previous version, Veev One's battery life has also been extended, ensuring that a single charge is sufficient to use an entire cartridge. The capacity of a single cartridge has increased to 2ml, allowing for up to 1,000 puffs with greater heating power.
According to public data, in 2022, Philip Morris International invested over 99% of its investment in the R&D of non-combustible products, having invested over $10 billion in the production, sales, and continuous innovation of these products over the past 15 years. Currently, over 900 scientists from 40 different nationalities and experts from about 30 scientific and engineering disciplines are working on the development of these products, which account for approximately 35.4% of PMI's net income in the second quarter of 2023.
According to Italian new tobacco vertical media, Italian retailers can now order Veev One through the official website or procure the device through distributor PUFF, as well as purchase replacement cartridges in tobacco, mint, and fruit flavors.
