Accelerating expansion! More than 50 Chinese e-cigarette brands appeared together at Vapexpo Madrid
After successfully hosting four sessions of the Vaping Expo in Madrid, the Vapexpo Madrid 2023, held on June 3-4, has become the largest vaping exhibition in Spain. This year's VAPEXPO MADRID took place at the Crystal Pavilion in CASA DE CAMPO, featuring a total of 121 exhibitors. Among them were over 50 well-known Chinese vaping brands including RELX, MOTI, ANYX, SMOK, ELFBAR, and more.
According to reports from the vaping industry news outlet Vapingeyes, the participating Chinese vaping companies cover various segments of the industry chain, including well-known pod brands like RELX, MOTI, and ANYX; open system brands like VOOPOO & ZOVOO, SMOK, UWELL, OXVA; and rapidly rising disposable brands like ELFBAR, ELUX, beco, HQD, and VOZOL.
The Vapexpo aims to gather individuals who share a passion for vaping, creating a community around the vaping industry. Manufacturers of electronic e-liquids and devices, mold makers, wholesalers, store managers, reviewers, and others will gather at VAPEXPO. The exhibition welcomes all industry professionals to discuss, share, experience, and learn more about new products with electronic cigarette manufacturers.
Since its first exhibition in Bordeaux in March 2014, Vapexpo has confirmed its leadership position in international trade exhibitions focused on vaping and its participants. Following the success of the first event, Vapexpo has been held in Paris and other cities in France.
The Vapexpo Spain is the largest and most important vaping exhibition in Spain. It is reported that the first VAPEXPO was held in Barcelona in October 2017, followed by events in Madrid in June 2018, 2019, and 2022. The 2023 event marks the fifth global vaping exhibition.
With the rise of cross-border e-commerce in China, Chinese vaping brands are increasingly making their mark in Spain. Compared to Vapexpo Madrid 2019, the number of Chinese exhibitors has increased from 7 to over 50 in Vapexpo Madrid 2023.
Currently, domestic vaping brands are closely collaborating with local vaping distributors and tobacco distributors in Spain. These brands are introducing new categories to the Spanish market and even the European market, such as disposable closed pod systems. Local vaping products are mostly open systems that require users to refill e-liquids themselves. In contrast, closed pod systems not only offer more appealing flavors but also have a more innovative appearance, with many considering them as fashionable items. Domestic vaping brands are leveraging this category to find their niche in the Spanish and even the broader European market.
