According to reports today, Turkmenistan has banned the sale of e-cigarettes and other vaping products.

In a country that has almost completely banned traditional tobacco products, the use of e-cigarettes has increased.

Reports indicate that it has become nearly impossible to purchase disposable e-cigarettes, reusable vaping devices, their spare parts, and e-liquids.

Officially, no regulations have been issued; the products have simply disappeared from sales. Sellers inform buyers that they have been banned.

Previously, e-cigarettes were sold online and in some physical stores.

"In particular, high-end nightclubs throughout Ashgabat have become popular venues for selling these products," reports indicate. "These stores are owned by relatives of the presidential family."

Reports also indicate that even now, in some of these stores, people can still purchase disposable e-cigarettes, as well as hookahs and tobacco.
