RELX new pod flavor review: Tender Cowboy

I was very lucky to be selected as a reviewer for this round of new pods. The pod I got at random is called Tender Cowboy. Here’s my personal take on it.

Tender Cowboy

To me, this is a pod with a primarily nutty flavor, supported by a creamy note.

Right from the first puff, it goes straight to the nutty profile without any hesitation, with a touch of creaminess appearing in the finish.

The throat hit is quite smooth, neither too strong nor harsh, and for me it feels just right. The lingering nutty aftertaste is excellent, but the creamy note is a bit average and somewhat sweet, without much of a clean finish. It’s not exactly jarring, but it does feel slightly rigid. Still, since it’s only a light accent, it remains acceptable. The strength is moderate, and most people should find it easy to handle. The vapor is rich and full, giving it an overall robust style. It doesn’t leave your mouth feeling dry or make you want to drink water constantly, though the sweetness may give that impression to people who do not enjoy sweet flavors.

Overall, I wouldn’t really classify this as a tobacco-flavored pod. It feels more like a nutty dessert profile.

In summary:

It has a smooth inhale and a rich overall style. I’d recommend it to people who enjoy nutty and dessert-like flavors.

If you prefer tobacco flavors, lighter taste profiles, or don’t like sweetness, I wouldn’t particularly recommend picking it up.

If it goes into mass production later, I personally think the sweetness could be adjusted slightly lower.
