lil SOLID Ez is a new generation compact device that heats tobacco evenly with the help of a stainless steel needle, without burning the tobacco from the inside, thus producing aerosol without generating tobacco smoke, ash, or flames. Compared to cigarette smoke, the harmful substance content in the aerosol is reduced by an average of 95%. This device complements PMI's existing range of smokeless tobacco alternatives in Serbia, which includes IQOS or SOLID systems for tobacco heating, as well as VEEV and VEEBA electronic cigarettes. The increasing number of smokeless products in PMI's portfolio is intended for legal-age smokers who would otherwise continue smoking, aiming to replace cigarettes with less harmful alternatives as quickly as possible.

Products like KT&G's lil SOLID Ez sold by PMI outside of Korea have undergone careful evaluation by the relevant regulatory authorities for market introduction and have been tested according to PMI's high scientific standards to confirm that there is no combustion and that harmful chemical emissions are significantly reduced compared to cigarettes.

This is an important step towards a smoke-free future and a continuation of the successful results of PMI's existing smokeless product line. As of March 31, 2023, there are 25.8 million IQOS device users globally, with 18.5 million legal-age smokers having completely switched to IQOS and stopped smoking.

Of course, it should be remembered that smokeless products are not without risks, as they release nicotine, which can lead to addiction.
