Binhai Airport Customs Seizes Excess Cigarettes and Vaping Pods
According to reports from Tianjin Customs, recently, customs at Tianjin Binhai Airport seized an excess of cigarettes and e-cigarette pods.
During the inspection of incoming flights, customs officers discovered that a passenger's luggage showed abnormal images on the X-ray, revealing a large number of neatly arranged thin strip-like items. The on-site officers immediately opened the luggage for inspection and found that the passenger was carrying an excess of cigarettes and e-cigarette pods upon entry, including 1800 cigarettes and 6000 e-cigarette pods. Currently, Tianjin Binhai Airport Customs has taken further action in accordance with relevant regulations.
Customs reminds: Cigarettes are restricted items in our country, with a duty-free limit of 400 cigarettes per person for those coming from abroad, and 200 cigarettes for travelers from Hong Kong and Macau. Travelers should familiarize themselves with customs laws and regulations in advance to correctly and legally carry such items to avoid violating relevant regulations.
