Sichuan’s Aba Prefecture Cracks First Case Involving Sales of Illegally Manufactured E-cigarette Pro

On April 11, the police in Jinchuan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan, conducted a special inspection of e-cigarette retail shops in conjunction with the county's tobacco monopoly bureau and market supervision bureau. During this joint inspection, over 20 shops were checked, and one shop suspected of selling illegally manufactured e-cigarette products was found, with 145 e-cigarette products confiscated according to the law.
The case has now been transferred to the relevant authorities for further processing. This case marks the first seizure of suspected illegally manufactured e-cigarette products in the prefecture since the national standards for e-cigarettes were officially implemented.
