RELX International Strengthens German Team, Appoints Former PMI Executive as General Manager

Today, on April 4, it was reported that RELX International, a global leader in the vaping products sector, has appointed a new General Manager for the DACH region to strengthen its focus on the German market.

This position will be immediately taken over by Helgi Tomasson Jonsson, who has over 20 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. Among other roles, this native Icelander has held various positions at AB InBev and Philip Morris (PMI) in Germany and internationally.

Expanding Sales Structure and Collaborating with Retailers

As the new General Manager for the DACH region, my current focus is to further expand the sales structure, having an excellent team and collaborating with our trade partners,” said Helgi Tomasson Jonsson (45), General Manager of RELX International DACH.

In addition to this top position, RELX Germany also has a team of experienced key account managers. With a new trade marketing manager and business development manager, the company is laying the groundwork for expanding sales channels and developing in more regions of Germany.
