Qingyuan County, Zhejiang Strengthens E-Cigarette Regulation: Comprehensive Inspections to Standardi
On March 29, the Qingyuan County Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, together with market supervision authorities, carried out comprehensive inspections of both licensed and unlicensed e-cigarette retailers within its jurisdiction to regulate the e-cigarette market order.

This inspection mainly targeted licensed and unlicensed e-cigarette retailers in Mengzhou Street and Songyuan Street, including Wangdong Electronics, Zhuopei Communications, and Zhiduoxing Mobile Phone Hypermarket, through a carpet-style screening inspection. The focus was on checking e-cigarette products on display, inventory, and purchase and sales records. No violations were found among retailers in the area during this inspection.

Next, the Qingyuan County Tobacco Monopoly Bureau will continue to work with market supervision and other departments to conduct follow-up “look-back” inspections and visits to both licensed and unlicensed e-cigarette retailers across the county. The key checks will include whether disclosure and commitment requirements are being implemented and whether there are any sales of e-cigarette products to minors, in order to fully safeguard the healthy growth of minors.
