On March 27, Philip Morris International (PMI) announced that its South Korean contract factory, the Yangsan factory (?????), has invested over 300 billion KRW (approximately 16 billion RMB) in the production of heated tobacco devices since 2017 to ensure it meets domestic demand.

It is reported that the Yangsan factory began producing devices specifically for heated tobacco e-cigarettes called "Heets" in 2018, and started producing the IQOS Illuma series devices called "Teria" in 2022.

The Yangsan factory not only produces and supplies all Heets and Teria products sold in Korea for IQOS but also exports them to seven countries where Illuma is sold.

Among them, the Teria products include a total of 10 varieties, including 2 regular products, 4 new products, and 4 special products.
