According to 2Firsts, after losing a trademark dispute, Shenzhen Weiboli Technology Co., Ltd. plans to relaunch its Elbar e-cigarette in the U.S. under the name EB Design.<\/div>

On February 23, a federal judge ordered Weiboli to stop selling its Elfbar e-cigarettes in the U.S., ruling that VPR Brands, which manufactures and sells Elf-branded e-cigarettes, is likely to win its lawsuit claiming that Elfbar e-cigarettes infringe its trademark.<\/div>

The North American PR manager for Elfbar stated in an interview with 2Firsts that while Elfbar will launch the new name in March, the brand will retain its original logo. The letters E and B in “EB Design” are considered to represent the initials of Elbar.<\/div>

Elfbar's U.S. PR manager indicated that the company will continue to focus on the U.S. market. He noted that the brand's U.S. suppliers and distributors are already aware of the name change and are prepared for it.<\/div>
