Cambodia Cracks Down on E-Cigarettes
According to Cambodia's Khmer Times, the Ministry of Commerce's Consumer Protection and Fraud Repression Directorate-General, working with the National Authority for Combating Drugs, burned 288 boxes of UOLO e-cigarettes at a landfill in Phnom Penh's Dang
According to Cambodia's Khmer Times, the Consumer Protection and Fraud Repression Directorate-General of the Ministry of Commerce, in cooperation with the National Authority for Combating Drugs, burned 288 boxes of UOLO e-cigarettes at a landfill in Dangkor District, Phnom Penh, equivalent to 7,200 packs.


Heng Maly, Director-General of the Consumer Protection and Fraud Repression Directorate-General, said: “The e-cigarettes were confiscated from a warehouse on November 3, 2022, in accordance with a confiscation and destruction order issued by the Phnom Penh Municipal Court prosecutor.”
The e-cigarettes were discovered during an investigation by the CCF integrated department, which seized 3,600 packs of UOLO e-cigarettes, 1,800 e-cigarette devices, and 1,800 e-cigarette mouthpieces.
