Kangcheng Yipin IGO10L Stick-Style All-in-One Review

Kangcheng Yipin has produced many e-cigarette kits, and in general they tend to target a more mature audience, including models such as the D50 and D80. These kits all follow a more mature, business-oriented design direction.

Today’s IGO10L also has a somewhat business-like style. You can already see some clues from the packaging, which overall looks fairly standard and conservative.     Package contents:     IGO10L stick-style all-in-one device (pre-installed 0.25-ohm coil)     USB data cable     Spare 0.25-ohm replacement coil     Chinese user manual     Warranty card  Kangcheng Yipin IGO10L stick-style all-in-one review When taking out the IGO10L device, you can see an insulating sheet at the airflow hole. I’m curious what exactly this insulating sheet is for. Is it to prevent the fire button from being accidentally pressed during transport? That’s the only possibility I can think of.     I don’t feel this part is especially meaningful, though the manufacturer may have had other considerations in mind. If there’s a chance, feel free to let me know.     Overall dimensions: 24.5*123mm     Output levels: 30W/40W/50W     E-liquid capacity: 4ML     Built-in battery capacity: 3000mAh     Resistance range: greater than or equal to 0.15 ohms (in other words, it cannot go below 0.15 ohms)     There are three output levels in total: press the fire button three times quickly to switch levels, and press it five times to turn the device on or off. In terms of operation, it’s basically foolproof—very simple, with almost no learning curve.  Kangcheng Yipin IGO10L stick-style all-in-one review A foolproof all-in-one device like this is well suited for beginners, because it’s simple and not complicated. Just press and vape. You don’t have to struggle with English labels on the screens of some box mods.     A built-in 3000mAh battery is quite large for a stick-style all-in-one. Since this type of device has relatively low output, pairing it with a 3000mAh battery means a full charge can last around three days without a problem.     While charging, the indicator light below the USB port stays solid red. Once fully charged, charging stops automatically. When the light goes out, you can simply unplug it.     One more thing: with this kind of device that charges through USB, you can still vape while it is charging. If you really can’t wait, using it while charging is completely fine.     At the atomizer top cap and filling chamber, you can see two physical sealing rings. These two sealed rings can effectively help prevent leakage when the atomizer is turned upside down. Although their usefulness may not be huge, they are still somewhat helpful when you keep the device in a bag, because it’s often impossible to keep it fixed in one position. A single bump may change the way the device lies, and that’s when this design shows its advantage.     As you can see in the image above, there are two horizontal airflow slots at the top of the device, and the airflow is not adjustable. This is actually not ideal for users who care a lot about flavor performance. Airflow adjustment may not be the most critical feature, but it does make some difference when it comes to distinguishing subtle variations in flavor. With fixed airflow slots, it means I can’t adjust the flavor profile. I can only choose the richness of the vape through wattage, while the delicacy and refinement of the flavor cannot be adjusted.     After installing the coil, the device’s airflow holes become much clearer to see. It uses a typical bottom-airflow design. In my opinion, the biggest advantage of bottom airflow is that it increases flavor intensity. Other than that, I don’t think bottom airflow offers many additional benefits.     The coil has four large round wicking holes, so there is no need to worry about wicking issues with high-VG e-liquid.     After filling the e-liquid, it’s best to let the device sit for about five minutes so the cotton can fully absorb the e-liquid. Otherwise, there may still be some differences in flavor, because cotton itself can have a faint taste. Those who have been vaping for a long time should know this.     The e-liquid I chose was Tree of Life VCT. This e-liquid mainly delivers a vanilla cream flavor profile. Since I’ve already reviewed this e-liquid in detail before, I’m very familiar with its taste. So now let’s see how this all-in-one device performs in terms of flavor:     30W, first output level: The vanilla flavor is very noticeable on the inhale, paired with creamy sweetness, and I’m quite satisfied with the top notes. However, the flavor intensity clearly decreases in the finish and gradually fades. In terms of flavor reproduction, this all-in-one device does not have a problem—the e-liquid is still interpreted fairly accurately.     40W, second output level: As the wattage increases, the flavor concentration immediately improves, and the thinness in the finish is almost no longer noticeable. The flavor at the second level is clearly better than at the first.     50W, third output level: The inhale becomes a bit hollow. At 50 watts, because the airflow cannot be adjusted, the hollow feeling becomes far too pronounced. If you are not especially focused on vapor production, I would not recommend beginners use the third setting for flavor chasing.     The flavor performance of this IGO10L stick-style all-in-one has already been explained very clearly above. The second setting offers the best flavor, the first setting remains within an acceptable range, and the third setting is better suited for cloud-chasing rather than flavor, so it is not recommended for flavor-focused use.#p#Page Break Title#e#
