SMOK G-Priv Baby Review

At the end of 2016, SMOK launched the dual-battery touch-screen G-PRIV KIT, featuring 220W output, a 2.4-inch capacitive touchscreen, and a 5ml Big Baby tank, making it a premium setup at the time. The new G-Priv Baby reviewed today is a mini version base
At the end of 2016, SMOK launched a dual-battery touch screen G-PRIV KIT, featuring dual batteries at 220W, a 2.4-inch capacitive touch screen, and a 5ml capacity Big BABY atomizer, which was considered a luxurious kit at the time!

Today, we are experiencing the new G-Priv Baby, a mini version based on the G-Priv, featuring a single battery at 85W, a 2-inch large touch screen, and a 4.5ml TFV12 Baby Prince atomizer. The main difference between the two is the change in size; the G-Priv Baby has a smaller body while still incorporating a 2-inch touch screen, giving it a more full-screen concept at first glance.

The packaging continues the three-section style that IVPS has consistently used, with the main image showing the actual product style/color inside, and the back displaying product information from the manufacturer. On the sides, you can see QR codes for the Steam Time app and a product anti-counterfeiting label.
SMOK G-Priv Baby Review All configurations include: G-Priv Baby main unit, TFV12 Baby Prince atomizer, spare regular glass tank, V8 Baby Q4 0.4Ω quad coil (pre-installed), V8 Baby Q2 0.4Ω dual coil, O-ring accessory pack, USB data cable, user manual, battery usage card, and product qualification certificate.

Atomizer parameters:

Material: Stainless steel

Dimensions: 26x53.7mm

Capacity: 4.5ml

Weight: 55g

Interface: 510
SMOK G-Priv Baby Review The G-Priv Baby KIT comes pre-installed with the TFV12 Baby Prince atomizer, which has been introduced multiple times in previous kits, and those familiar with SMOK products will not be strangers to it. It features a snake-pattern drip tip, a top-fill locking system, a bulb-shaped 4.5ml e-liquid tank, bottom airflow adjustment, and supports the use of light-emitting atomizer cores. This atomizer was previously included as standard in the MAG-Baby pistol kit. For more details about this atomizer, please click: http://ecigm.com/thread-35835-1.html

G-Priv Baby main unit parameters:

Main unit dimensions: 72x51x29.2mm

Main unit weight: 165g

Power range: 1W-85W

Output voltage: 0.5V-9.0V

Resistance range: 0.1Ω-2.5Ω (VM)/0.5Ω-2Ω (TC)

Temperature range: 200F-600F/100C-315C

The main unit features a 2.0-inch capacitive touch screen, with a solid black screen panel covering the front. When the screen is off, the mirror-like integration is extremely beautiful, giving a near full-screen visual effect. If it is the black version, this visual effect would be even better.

The new UI interface touch screen allows users to touch MEUN to enter the menu options. The virtual +/- keys in the middle of the screen replace the physical increase/decrease buttons, and information such as battery level, resistance Ω, voltage V, and puff count is clearly displayed. The overall standby interface has a very good technological feel.

The body has a glossy paint finish, and the other side panel features a snake pattern. At the top, you can see the G-Priv Baby product name and the SMOK brand logo, while the circular protrusion at the top is the battery compartment cover. The first impression of this device is that it feels solid, and the symmetrical dual-panel protrusion design increases the thickness of the body, which is beneficial as the dual panels have a certain curvature that supports the overall grip feel.

The fire button continues the large button layout of previous products, making it convenient for the index and middle fingers to press during operation. Similar to the G-Priv, the G-Priv Baby also features a lock screen button above the fire button, which can turn off/on the touch display. This angle shows the thickness of the rear panel protrusion, and it must be said that symmetrical aesthetics can sometimes be a double-edged sword!

The gold-plated contact points and the 510 interface stainless steel decorative ring are not raised, and during actual use, the outer paint surface may be scratched. It is recommended to leave a slight gap when installing the atomizer, and the threaded battery compartment cover supports the use of a single 18650 battery, with the positive terminal marked to face down inside the battery compartment.

The bottom USB interface location has a CE non-recyclable label. Although the USB interface is placed at the bottom of the device, it becomes less important for a device with a replaceable battery. #p#分页标题#e#

Touching MEUN allows access to the menu options, where four clear and intuitive independent settings options can be seen. Users can simply touch to enter the settings.

The four options are: power settings, temperature control settings, display color settings, and puff count settings. All detailed settings are touch-operated, similar to a smartphone, with good touch feedback and responsive tapping.

The main display interface and font support six color changes at will, combined with a delicate screen display effect, making this device closer to the visual and operational experience of a smartphone.
SMOK G-Priv Baby Review The independent lock screen button above the fire button supports a quick and convenient one-button lock/unlock function. One-button lock (does not affect firing while smoking),

Pressing the fire button three times can lock/unlock the fire button settings, effectively preventing accidental firing, making it easier to carry around.

The biggest impression of using this G-Priv Baby kit mainly comes from its 2.0-inch large touch screen experience. The fingertip touch replaces physical buttons, greatly enhancing the playability for those who are tired of physical buttons.

The settings interface is simpler and more intuitive compared to previous products, with more user-friendly controls. SMOK's chip performance has always been stable, and the single battery at 85W paired with the 4.5ml TFV12 Baby Prince atomizer is sufficient to meet daily endurance and vapor needs. The symmetrical dual-panel design increases the thickness of the body; if it had the rounded shape of the X-PRIV BABY, the overall feel would be even lighter. Additionally, it must be said that the green version's border reduces the black screen's overall integration; if it were the black version, it would better highlight the overall feel and full-screen mirror effect of this device!
