However, it has been a boon for smokers looking for alternatives, as it is convenient and quick to use outdoors, requiring no batteries or DIY tools, greatly facilitating user experience!
From the small vaping devices at the beginning of the year to the endless stream of devices now, most small vaping products on the market are quite similar. Today, I will introduce the ZQVi small vaping device!

Upon opening, the small vaping device appears before your eyes, along with a watermark of the ZQ product logo, which is as simple and clear as the packaging!
The configuration list includes: ZQVi small vaping device (pre-installed pod), needle oil bottle, USB charging data cable, product manual, and certificate of conformity.
There is a Chinese manual available for players to read in detail, which includes detailed specifications and instructions for use, inhalation, power on/off, refilling, and more.
Let's take a look at the main device, featuring a rounded trendy design paired with a side metal frame. The ZQ product logo and the ignition button are wrapped in a leather-like material, and the back has a raised area that corresponds with the front, seamlessly integrated without affecting the grip. The metal part does not feel too cold, and the overall grip is very comfortable.
The ZQ also offers two inhalation modes: airflow capacitive sensing, which allows for direct mouth-to-lung inhalation; and button sensing, which requires manual pressing to inhale, with a simple pressure adjustment function that is also very convenient.
Inside the device, there are magnets on both sides to attach the pod and prevent it from falling off. The central part is the air inlet, and the electrodes on both sides correspond to the pod!
The device has a built-in 650mAh lithium battery, which is sufficient for daily use without worrying about rapid battery depletion, as most small vaping devices are low power consumption.
The bottom features a USB charging port, and the design of the USB port at the bottom corresponds to the indicator light of the ignition button above, making it convenient to observe the charging progress at any time.
When the voltage drops below 3.3V, the atomizer will not work, and the red light will flash 10 times.
When connected to a charger, the red light will turn on, and when charged to 4.15V, the white light will turn on, continuing to charge until fully charged, at which point the light will turn off.
The pod features a 1.4-ohm atomizing core with organic cotton design, compatible with market e-liquids. Based on personal experience, it is recommended to use nicotine salt e-liquids for a good flavor! The 2ml pod is not small for a small vaping device, as it can be refilled, allowing users to add e-liquid according to their preferences.
The pod is overall narrow at the top and wider at the bottom, tapering upwards, fitting well with the lips. From the larger mouthpiece at the top, you can see that the heating wire is a loose coil, paired with organic cotton. The magnets on both sides at the bottom use a magnetic connection to attach to the device body and prevent falling off. Refilling is also very convenient, just use the provided needle oil bottle. Remember to let it sit for a few minutes before using it!
One noteworthy feature is the pod's air inlet design, which utilizes ZQ's innovative CSA spiral airflow technology. Air enters through the honeycomb-shaped inlet at the bottom, allowing for even airflow into the pod, fully atomizing the e-liquid and enhancing the vapor experience!
The sides of the pod also have plastic clips, which are for time-limited work and to determine whether the atomizing core can be rebuilt without damage. This will be explored further later! Of course, if there are DIY enthusiasts, they can also try rebuilding it!
In terms of user experience, after using it for about two days, the device feels great, compact, and comfortable, making it convenient for outdoor use.
The vapor production and flavor of the pod are excellent, with a good representation of nicotine salt e-liquids. However, since I only have one pod, I haven't tried the flavor and vapor of regular e-liquids, so I won't comment too much on that!
Regarding the two inhalation modes, both offer different experiences, but I prefer the airflow capacitive sensing mode, as the draw resistance feels just right, and the vapor production and flavor are great. For the button mode, I feel that the design of the ignition button is slightly too low for my usage habits.
