I am a loyal user of vaping devices and have tried quite a few. At first, I wasn't used to vaping, but after a while, I found that vaping is much better than smoking cigarettes, and the reduced harm to the body alone is worth my lifelong support. After trying many vaping devices, I still prefer the IQOS vaping device.

IQOS can't strictly be called a vaping device because its usage principle is different from traditional vaping devices. The reason it has the word “electronic” is that it contains electronic components that change the combustion method of smoking into an “electric” related method. Many traditional vaping devices use electronic equipment to distill the tobacco, slowly releasing the tobacco aroma. While this can release the same tobacco aroma, the smoke produced lacks warmth due to the distillation process, feeling very cold, especially in the initial usage phase, where each puff feels like just inhaling nicotine, which is very unsatisfying.

What I appreciate most about IQOS is that it addresses this shortcoming of traditional vaping devices. It abandons the distillation method and instead uses a new technology called “heat-not-burn.” Although the heating method does not reach the high temperatures of combustion, it can still provide a warmth comparable to that of burning cigarettes, making the vaping experience feel closer to smoking, which is easier to accept. Moreover, since the heating does not reach the high temperatures of combustion, the harmful substances released during use are far less than those from cigarettes.

Additionally, due to the heat-not-burn technology, IQOS has a heater in addition to the device and tobacco sticks. The previous heater looked similar to a mobile power bank, but I heard that the upcoming fourth generation has made changes, moving the opening to the side. However, I haven't seen the product yet, so I'm not sure what it looks like. The heater, as the name suggests, is used to heat the vaping device. After inserting the tobacco stick into the device, it needs to be heated before use. The specific operation method is explained in the instructions, so I won't elaborate further. However, one thing to note is that when inserting the tobacco stick, do not twist it, as the inside of the device is not designed to be spiral, and twisting can easily damage the tobacco stick.

Another point worth mentioning is the quitting effect of IQOS. I have been smoking for seven years, usually consuming between one and a half to two packs a day. After using IQOS, my daily cigarette consumption dropped to about four to five cigarettes. After a month, I was able to quit completely. Initially, when I quit smoking, I vaped IQOS a bit more, but after consciously controlling it for a while, my usage gradually decreased. Now, I only occasionally smoke one.

So I personally think this is a very good vaping device, and I recommend it to everyone.
