Previously, we introduced the VGOD Mech Mod 3rd Generation and VGOD Pod. This time, we present the VGOD Pro 200W Box Mod Kit. Speaking of VGOD, we must mention the renowned VGOD team, a performance group famous for showcasing impressive cloud tricks at various vaping expos. They have launched well-known products like the VGOD Pro 150W and VGOD PRO MECH, among others.
VGOD has now become more than just a brand in the vaping community; it is a fashion leader, attracting many fans like a trendy brand. Therefore, every new product from VGOD becomes a hot topic among enthusiasts.
The VGOD PRO 200W comes in a white base packaging with a lid, featuring a 3D rendering of the product on the box. The bottom of the box contains product descriptions and various labels, as shown in the image above.
Inside the packaging, you will find:
1 * VGOD PRO 200 BOX MOD
1 * VGOD PRO SUBTANK
1 * 0.2Ω pre-installed coil
1 * Spare gray glass tank
1 * Accessory pack
1 * User manual
As seen in the image, the VGOD PRO 200W has a robust and solid appearance, resembling a square shape akin to an ammunition box or a modular piece of equipment, exuding a strong military vibe and a Hummer-like aura, suggesting good drop resistance.
Weighing 186 grams, it feels substantial in hand. Both sides of the front feature rubber pads that resemble armor. Not only do they enhance aesthetics, but they also increase friction, making it less likely to slip from your grip. Upon closer inspection, the entire device has a matte finish, looking stunning and feeling great. Wouldn't you want to hold it and experience it yourself?
The VGOD PRO 200W is not only drop-resistant but also quite abrasion-resistant, thanks to the black silicone pads on the top and bottom panels, which protect the device from wear on surfaces. These four silicone pads also increase friction with the palm, preventing slippage.
The distinctly recognizable logo is embedded within the rubber pad, featuring a unique design (logo shape) and a prominent position, allowing players to identify its origin at a glance.
The VGOD PRO 200W's fire button is located at the top. While it may not seem as convenient or comfortable as a side-mounted design, it still provides a comfortable feel when held properly. The designer has also curved the fire button, effectively lowering its height, making it easier for the thumb to reach while also providing a good tactile experience.
However, the 510 connector could use some optimization, as its lack of a protruding design makes it susceptible to scratches around the paint surface from the atomizer base, even though the finish appears durable.
The VGOD PRO 200W, like many mainstream dual-battery devices, uses one side panel as the battery cover, which facilitates quick battery installation and replacement. The method is simple: gently lift the panel from the notch at the bottom with a fingernail to access the battery compartment. The three elongated holes on one corner serve for heat dissipation and pressure relief, and the clear markings inside the battery compartment indicate that the upper two electrode contacts are spring-loaded, providing better reliability in contact with the battery compared to traditional designs.
Since VGOD was established as a team known for cloud tricks, they undoubtedly have stringent requirements for performance equipment, demanding not only instant bursts of power but also a 100% ignition success rate (of course, a visually appealing cloud show also heavily relies on the performer's skill).
The chip plays a decisive role in achieving all of this. It is reported that VGOD's chip is known for its stability and power. To see how the VGOD PRO 200W chip performs, let's take a look at a dynamic image first.

During the experience, it was found that the VGOD PRO 200W's chip is fully functional and powerful, supporting output modes such as TI, NI, SS304, and SS316, as well as PRO mode (professional mode) and MECH mode (mechanical mode). The PRO mode is similar to curve mode, with a maximum voltage setting of 8.4V, indicating its extraordinary output power. In MECH mode, the device directly outputs a constant voltage of 4.2V, which should be more accurately referred to as constant voltage mode. The voltage values during output clearly demonstrate the impressive power of these two output modes.
If PRO mode is suitable for professional players, then MECH mode, with its constant voltage output, is more widely applicable to players. Moreover, the VGOD PRO 200W also supports traditional power mode, which can be set by pressing the fire button and the + button simultaneously while the device is on, entering the main menu, and then selecting FACTORY RESET (factory reset) by pressing the +/- buttons and choosing YES.
In addition to the above output modes, I was also quite interested in the SCREEN COLOR option, which allows you to cycle through nearly ten screen display effects by pressing the +/- buttons. This variety of effects can alleviate the aesthetic fatigue caused by a single screen display.
The system also supports screen brightness adjustment, display styles, gesture settings, and other practical features. All of these settings are clearly outlined in the manual, making it easy to follow. However, I personally feel that the system settings are somewhat cumbersome, requiring continuous pressing of the fire button and 'EXIT' to confirm and return to the previous menu. It would be beneficial to design some shortcut keys for quicker parameter settings.
As a performance device, it not only requires a powerful chip for output but also demands an atomizer capable of producing a substantial amount of vapor. The VGOD PRO SUBTANK not only has a large mouthpiece but also features large airflow holes on the base.
The atomizer is a PRO SubTank pre-made RTA, with a coil resistance of 0.2 ohms. With the fast pace of life, there may not be much time to make coils and cotton, making pre-made coils an ideal choice for cloud enthusiasts. The atomizer chamber is imprinted with the VGOD logo and uses a bottom airflow design, with the drip tip shaped like a double-curve model resembling a heat sink, effectively lowering vapor temperature while managing condensation return quite well, ensuring minimal liquid is drawn into the mouth. The 4ml e-liquid capacity is sufficient for most users, allowing for carefree vaping with just a refill bottle when going out!
The large electrode plate on the base provides a larger contact area with the atomizer coil, ensuring a high ignition success rate.
The VGOD PRO SUBTANK's refill ring design is also quite unique, with cross-opening silicone plugs in the two refill holes that automatically close after filling with a pointed oil bottle, effectively minimizing the possibility of leaks.
After a few days of hands-on experience, I found that the VGOD PRO 200W, while feeling a bit large, performs quite well in other aspects. Especially, the ATOM.V.200B chipset it carries is not only fully functional but also stable, with the PRO mode available for advanced players.
Flavor experience: The vapor is smooth and delicate upon entry, exhaling fresh and sweet, making one salivate. The mature and fragrant raspberry lingers in the mouth, offering a mild flavor with a moderate throat hit, producing substantial vapor with excellent cooling, refreshing without being harsh on the throat.
I recommend pairing it with low-nicotine e-liquids, especially fruit-flavored ones, as this coil provides high fidelity, excellently restoring the fruity aroma and sweetness.
In summary, the VGOD Pro 200W Box Mod Kit features simple packaging, excellent hand feel, and may feel a bit heavy for players with smaller hands or female users. The entire device is well-constructed, visually appealing, and the chip provides instant ignition with no delay, achieving a level of immediate satisfaction. Whether you are a casual user or a vaping expert, it can be perfectly suited for you. In terms of safety, the device is equipped with multiple protection modes to ensure a secure vaping experience.
