Vandy Vape and Tony B are at it again. Their latest collaboration is the Pulse Dual squonk kit powered by dual 18650 batteries. The Pulse Dual Mod is the smallest mass-produced dual-battery squonk mod. On the market, squonk mods in this category are typically rated up to 220W. The kit will also include the Pulse V2, an RDA that can be used for both single-coil and dual-coil builds thanks to its innovative design.
This is just a first look at the Pulse Dual kit, so stay tuned for the full review coming soon.

Vandy Vape & Tony B Pulse Dual Preview | The Smallest Affordable Dual-Battery Squonker The first thing you’ll notice about the Pulse is that it comes in a familiar shape—the Wismec Reuleaux form factor. Interestingly, the person behind that shape is none other than JayBo, the designer of the Reuleaux. JayBo gave Tony his blessing to use the overall design, and Vandy Vape ran with the idea. Combining that design with compatibility limited to 18650 batteries allowed the Pulse Dual to become the smallest affordable dual-battery squonk mod.
The mod features the latest update to the Vandy chip, this time with a rectangular screen. The functions, settings, and navigation will feel familiar, as they are similar to the Pulse 80 and Pulse X mods. It also comes with a black lightweight metal frame and colored plastic panels; the color options and panel design give the mod a look somewhat similar to the Dovpo Topside Lite. The only downside to this design is that the squonk bottle is proprietary, limiting capacity to 7 ml. Fortunately, Vandy Vape will offer replacement bottles at a very affordable price.
The Pulse Dual kit will be available just in time for Christmas.
The mod will be sold separately, or as part of a kit paired with the Pulse V2 RDA. This is the fourth dripper in the Pulse line, and it appears to be the most innovative one yet. It has a deck that reminds me of the Pulse X RDA, but instead of “X”-shaped posts arranged horizontally, the posts are now vertical. In fact, the Pulse V2 adopts part of the Pulse X squonk system, as e-liquid feeds from the top of the deck and returns to the bottle from the bottom.
But the deck is only part of the story, because the most interesting feature of the Pulse V2 is its inserts. These can transform it from a dual-coil RDA with slotted airflow into a dual-coil RDA with honeycomb airflow, and then into a single-coil RDA with honeycomb airflow and a reduced chamber. If you’re a dripper looking for something that handles dual-coil builds as well as single-coil builds, this may be the one.
