VGOD Pro Mech 2 KIT Camo Mechanical Mod Review

Mechanical mods have always played an indispensable role in vaping devices. Their ability to unleash nearly the full power of the battery, combined with strong output and easy portability, has made them highly popular among enthusiasts. At the same time,
Mechanical mods have always played an indispensable role in vaping devices, loved by users for their ability to unleash the maximum power of the battery without reservation, along with their portability. However, the lack of chip protection can deter some users due to the potential for issues like battery explosions in cases of short circuits or low resistance, which may stem from poor design. Fortunately, these concerns can be easily addressed by choosing high-quality brands and properly rated batteries. The VGOD Pro Mech 2, which I am sharing today, is a typical representative of this type of mod.

The VGOD Pro Mech 2 was actually launched in February this year, and its reappearance showcases a brand new camouflage series, enhancing its military aesthetic, which resonates with the inherent soldierly sentiment in men, while also highlighting the masculine side of the VGOD Pro Mech 2. Holding it, I feel like a soldier myself.

The VGOD Pro Mech 2 continues the packaging style of the VGOD Pro Mech, including: 1* VGOD Pro Mech 2 mechanical mod, 1* carrying case, 1* user manual, 1* spare spring, 1* Elite RDA, and 1* wire. The practicality of the carrying case is particularly commendable.
VGOD Pro Mech 2KIT Camo Mechanical Mod Review Removing the sponge pad from the packaging reveals a quality, very practical storage box, perfect for holding the VGOD Pro Mech 2 along with essential tools and daily supplies, making it ready for spontaneous trips.

The VGOD Pro Mech 2, with its well-proportioned body, boasts an impressive aesthetic, which is the biggest highlight of its return to the spotlight. It can be understood as a camouflage series color added to the original black anti-slip sleeve of the VGOD Pro Mech 2, including desert camouflage, polar camouflage, and black camouflage, all of which can be achieved by replacing the anti-slip sleeve, as the sleeves at both ends of the mod are detachable.

By unscrewing the atomizer and firing switch, we can easily separate them from the mod. The high-quality materials combined with the regular anti-slip groove design not only provide a good hand feel but also prevent slipping. The replaceable sleeves also allow skilled users to showcase their talents and DIY their own sleeves.

The logo laser-etched on the waist of the mod clearly indicates the brand affiliation. The main body of the VGOD Pro Mech 2 is still made of copper, aligning with VGOD's competitive spirit as a performance team brand, as the lower internal resistance of copper ensures a more powerful output performance for the VGOD Pro Mech 2.

The laser engraving around the top 510 interface of the VGOD Pro Mech 2 is clear and reflects its exquisite craftsmanship.

Upon removing the upper and lower sleeves, it is found that the body of the VGOD Pro Mech 2 is surrounded by small holes, indicating good heat dissipation, with the primary function being pressure relief to prevent potential issues.

The insulating sleeve embedded in the inner wall of the mod is likely to win players' favor, as it not only protects the battery's outer skin from scratches but also prevents short circuits caused by using damaged batteries, which could lead to battery explosions. It seems this sleeve cannot be removed.

Upon closer inspection, this sleeve has eight elongated holes, which I believe should align with the four pressure relief holes on the mod for better heat dissipation and pressure relief. However, this insulating sleeve is not fixed, and its ability to rotate freely may lead to alignment issues, which is somewhat puzzling.
VGOD Pro Mech 2KIT Camo Mechanical Mod Review The firing switch of the VGOD Pro Mech 2 remains a well-designed carbon fiber switch, which was also used in the previously shared ATOM SANDMAN mechanical mod. It employs a revolutionary Tricon ignition system that ensures optimal ignition performance at minimal voltage, which has been well validated on both mods, while also providing a good tactile feel. The Elite RDA atomizer, custom-made for the VGOD Pro Mech 2, feels very harmonious when paired with it, without any sense of mismatch. Although the design is simple, it is not crude. The integrated design style of the drip tip and atomization chamber expresses the wild side that a mechanical mod should have.

Additionally, the two different matte spray effects on the drip tip and chamber cover give the Elite RDA a strong visual impact. The double-layer design on the upper inner wall of the chamber performs well in compressing vapor and enhancing flavor, as this design effectively reduces the atomization space. Moreover, the internal chamfering significantly prevents e-liquid splatter.

The lower end of the atomization chamber features two pairs of protective ears that perfectly fit into the two pairs of grooves on the base for a secure connection. The electrodes on the base adopt a tool-free design.

As seen in the image, the two large gold-plated locking screws should technically be referred to as nuts, with the vertical grooves on top allowing for easy hand-tightening and complete removal. The large aperture of the hollow design for the wire can perfectly support the current mainstream plain and fancy wires, even accommodating 8-core fancy wires without issue.
VGOD Pro Mech 2KIT Camo Mechanical Mod Review The oil reservoir design of the Elite RDA is quite deep, which can reduce the hassle of frequent refilling to some extent. The dual non-adjustable airflow holes allow for direct airflow to the coil from the bottom, and upon use, it is found that when paired with an 810 drip tip and fancy wire, the Elite RDA not only delivers excellent flavor performance but also provides a comfortable draw resistance. However, the airflow is non-adjustable.

The operation of wicking on the Elite RDA is not particularly difficult, and I believe that players with some basic knowledge can easily manage it, as its structure is not complex and the wire locking is quite user-friendly, providing ample operational space. To ensure the wire is securely locked, it is recommended to use the provided Phillips screwdriver for additional tightening.

In conclusion, here’s a snapshot of the VGOD Pro Mech 2 in action, showcasing its explosive power.
VGOD Pro Mech 2KIT Camo Mechanical Mod Review Overall, this polar camouflage VGOD Pro Mech 2, with its strong military flavor, is quite appealing and offers excellent value for money. I believe you will love it just as much as I do, as we all carry a soldier's sentiment within us. Even after taking off the uniform, we still cherish that charming camouflage.
