The speed of updates in vaping devices is very fast, with many of the latest technologies applied to e-cigarette devices. After the launch of the iPhone X with a full-screen display, domestic phone manufacturers also began to rapidly release their own full-screen phones. In the vaping sector, SMOK has also been at the forefront, launching its first “full-screen” vaping device kit—the X-PRIV kit. This kit consists of the X-PRIV mod and the TFV12 Prince tank. Let’s take a look at this full-screen vaping device.
The packaging still follows the SMOK family style. Upon opening the package, you can see the X-PRIV mod, TFV12 Prince tank (pre-installed with T10 coil, resistance 0.12Ω), a spare Q4 coil (resistance 0.4Ω), a spare glass tank, and a stylish Priv USB charging cable. The model sent for testing is in black and red, and besides this, there are prism gold, prism blue, prism bright chrome, prism gunmetal, prism rainbow, and car pink options. The naming convention for colors is quite different from other mod kits in the SMOK family. SMOK X-PRIV—smok full-screen e-cigarette The X-PRIV is very compact, with a rounded shape and a glass-like texture that exudes elegance. The front features a 2.0-inch display that uses the latest version of the UI layout, making all the mod's numerical information clear at a glance. This includes battery level, wattage, resistance, voltage, and puff count, with “+” and “-” buttons set at the bottom right of the screen. The entire side of the device serves as the fire button, and the hidden fire switch feels comfortable when pressed. When I first saw the X-PRIV, it was hard to imagine that such a compact body could house two 18650 batteries, with a maximum power of 225W. After optimizing the body, the dimensions are kept at 88*46.5*30.4mm, which is quite impressive. At the same time, the weight of the device is 172g, and it supports a minimum resistance of 0.1Ω. Although the minimum resistance is marked as 0.1Ω, it can actually work with a resistance as low as 0.08Ω. The top of the device features a universal 510 connector, compatible with most tanks on the market. The battery compartment is designed with magnets, with four magnets on the top and bottom, ensuring a very secure attachment. The front of the mod and the spare parts are made of glass, with a mirror-plated frame that feels smooth to the touch. SMOK X-PRIV—smok full-screen e-cigarette As for the operation of the SMOK mod and the TFV12 Prince tank, it has been previously introduced on this site, so I won’t elaborate further. A dual-battery mod paired with a large cloud-producing tank is enough to satisfy players' pursuit of big clouds. In summary: The X-PRIV kit, with its unique “full-screen” design, will certainly leave a deep impression on players encountering it for the first time. The meticulous craftsmanship retains the quality of a top-tier brand. After an impressive slimming down, it can accommodate two 18650 batteries, which is indeed a highlight of the design. If you are looking for a product that stands out, the SMOK X-PRIV kit is a great choice. Many players have already reviewed the SMOK X-PRIV kit, for more reference reviews click to read: SMOK X-PRIV kit experience sharing SMOK X-PRIV 225W kit review SMOK X-PRIV 225W dual-battery e-cigarette review SMOK X-PRIV full-screen e-cigarette usage review
