I Want to Buy a RELX Vape: How Should Beginners Choose?
Honestly, it really depends on the person, because RELX generations 1, 2, 3, and 4 are each aimed at different users.
RELX 1st Generation:
The 1st generation is RELX’s most mature product. It’s better suited for beginners, offers the widest variety of pod flavors, and the taste is relatively lighter. Recommended for newcomers, but not ideal for longtime smokers.
RELX 2nd Generation:
The 2nd generation doesn’t really bring much innovation. It’s fairly standard overall. Aside from some more distinctive flavors, there isn’t much else to praise. The one notable point is that it produces a larger vapor volume.
RELX 3rd Generation:
This one introduced much bigger innovations and feels the most high-tech. At present, RELX 3 is the one that can connect via Bluetooth. It has a smart lock and can track how many puffs you’ve taken. Most importantly, the flavor is genuinely enjoyable, with the richest intensity of the lineup, making it especially suitable for experienced smokers. The downside is that the ongoing cost is quite high, and each box only contains two pods, so it really depends on personal preference.
RELX 4th Generation:
The 4th generation is basically an upgraded version of the 1st generation. It improves battery life, charging speed, and most importantly leak resistance. The flavor is also much richer, especially the pineapple and berry options — absolutely excellent.

I used to smoke Huanghelou Soft Blue, and later switched to RELX 1st generation because of pharyngitis. Everyone experiences pods differently, so it’s best to slowly try and find what you like. Nowadays, pods can also be mixed and matched individually, so you can buy a few and test them yourself.
If you’re buying now, go with the 5th generation — no need to overthink it, just get the 5th generation!!!

You can start with the 1st generation and later switch to the 4th. After trying so many compact vaping devices, I’ve become pretty numb to the hype. Although the 1st generation is compatible with many pods and the price is cheaper at 40–50 per box, I still recommend buying original pods.
The flavor quality is on a completely different level. The 2nd and 3rd generation pods are too expensive, so the long-term cost is high. The 4th and 5th generation pods are cross-compatible, and the device body feels about the size of a lighter. Just choose a series with more flavor options. When you’re just starting out, you usually won’t be that focused on subtle differences in draw and throat feel anyway.
Start with a 1st generation device and buy more flavors to experiment with. After using the 1st generation for a while and then switching to the 4th generation, you’ll really notice how much better the experience is.
MOTI 2nd Generation Slite also offers a good vaping experience. Check online reviews carefully — and MOTI 2nd Generation also has many flavor options, making it very suitable for beginners. Its unique triple plug-in “boost mode” produces even more vapor and offers more room for experimentation!

Every time a new product comes out, people hype it up as the ultimate compact vape, but manufacturers are trying to sell products, so of course they exaggerate. Don’t let advertising lead you around — watch more review videos first!
But in the end, everyone’s preferences are different. You can always try them in a physical store first anyway, and it usually doesn’t cost anything!
