Baroque Vaping Device Review
In September, the weather in Huizhou is extremely dry and hot, which can easily trigger rhinitis and pharyngitis, both of which I suffer from, and I am a seasoned smoker with over ten years of smoking experience. After nearly half a month of constant coughing, I thought it was time to change my lifestyle, starting with quitting smoking. Quitting completely is impossible, but I can try switching to something else.
After using an e-cigarette for a month with some skepticism, although I have not completely quit traditional cigarettes, I have redefined my previous perception of e-cigarettes as merely a "show-off" item.
Today, I want to share a beginner-friendly e-cigarette from the American brand PLYROCK, called Baroque. I first learned about Baroque on Zhihu, and it comes in five colors; I bought the black one, and it’s okay to make a mistake on the first try.
I am someone who values consumer experience and compares products extensively; every detail from packaging design to functionality can either enhance or detract from my impression of a product. Fortunately, Baroque's packaging is a plus, with a simple white box that has a round shape and an embossed logo, which adds a sense of design and made me look forward to unboxing it.
The appearance features a hexagonal design that gives it a more premium feel. It is slightly larger than a ballpoint pen, and the e-liquid capsule has a capacity of 1.5ml, making it easy to carry and replace. The package includes one battery body and one USB charging cable, and since I bought a package deal, I received ten pods.
I must mention Baroque's user manual, which is designed for beginners. The manual is straightforward and easy to follow, with large, clear fonts. For someone who just got their hands on a new e-cigarette, it’s common to refer to the manual, but Baroque's manual is so simple that anyone who can read can understand it at a glance, which greatly enhances my impression of the product.
In terms of flavors, there are Chinese tobacco, mint lemon, and various fruit flavors. As someone who enjoys popping flavor beads, I chose the mint lemon and fruit flavors. The mint lemon flavor provides a refreshing icy sensation with a hint of lemon, while the fruit flavor is relatively mild and slightly fragrant. Additionally, the concentration of the Chinese tobacco flavor is at 5%, while the fruit flavor is at 3%, but both provide a sensation close to that of real cigarettes, serving as a satisfying alternative.
Due to the lower e-liquid concentration, which contains only a small amount of nicotine and is free from tar and carbon monoxide, it has passed the EU ROHS and U.S. FDA MSDS certifications. For seasoned smokers, it can be considered a satisfying yet healthier option.

In terms of structure, the e-liquid is stored directly in the capsule, eliminating the need for a refill button, making it ready to use right out of the box. The battery body includes a smart chip to prevent dry burning, ensuring safety and health. Notably, the battery body even has a vibration motor that provides a smart vibration alert if used for more than two seconds, which is a standout feature for smokers who enjoy vaping but are also trying to quit.
The numerous advantages of Baroque are based on the manufacturer’s understanding of smoker habits and consumer experience, such as no secondhand smoke, no carcinogens, and no open flames. However, to fundamentally achieve smoking cessation, it still relies on personal mindset and willpower.
Today, not only in Europe and America, but the domestic market for e-cigarettes is also gradually expanding. As an American brand, PLYROCK Baroque not only aligns with user-friendly functionality but also caters to the aesthetic preferences of domestic consumers. Finally, I hope everyone, when choosing an e-cigarette, pays attention not only to functionality and appearance but also remembers that e-cigarettes are meant for smoking cessation and quitting.
