[China, Shenzhen, March 25, 2015] Global leading information and communication solutions provider Huawei announced the successful holding of the 2015 Huawei China Partner Conference in Xi'an. Among them, the tobacco sub-forum was an important part of this conference, attracting nearly 120 participants, including relevant leaders from provincial tobacco monopoly bureaus (companies), representatives from provincial tobacco industrial companies, user representatives, industry experts, and Huawei partner representatives, to discuss trends and developments in the tobacco industry.

Ma Yue, President of Huawei's Enterprise BG China, stated: "The informatization construction of the tobacco industry is very important. Huawei's solutions for cloud computing, data centers, video surveillance, 3D virtual factories, automated management, unmanned management, information collection and distribution are highly compatible with the informatization needs of the tobacco industry. We can consider building an Internet of Things from the national level to provincial and municipal levels, to various tobacco factories and fields, using 4G LTE technology for visual and automated management. We attach great importance to the tobacco industry and are willing to invest more resources to work with partners to promote the informatization development of the tobacco industry."

In 2014, Huawei rapidly developed in the domestic tobacco industry, with its main products being widely adopted, such as high-end servers supporting the core business system of Hunan Center ERP, Huawei's virtualization engine FusionSphere assisting Longyan Tobacco in building a highly reliable business platform, and data center switches CE12800 helping Hubei Tobacco Monopoly Bureau create an efficient data center platform. Huawei's high-definition video system accelerated the "digitalization" of Shandong Tobacco, and more core business systems are being or will soon be deployed on Huawei devices.

Pang Chensu, Head of the Large Enterprise Systems Department of Huawei's Enterprise BG China, said: "Huawei has always adhered to the strategies of 'focusing' and 'being integrated.' As a special manufacturing industry, the informatization construction of the tobacco industry is particularly critical. Huawei is very willing to work with leaders, experts, and partners in the tobacco industry to jointly promote the informatization development of tobacco."

XU Shifeng, Chief Architect of Huawei's Enterprise BG China for the tobacco industry, delivered a keynote speech on "Intelligent Industrial Interconnection and Innovative Agile Manufacturing." He used various analytical methods to predict potential market opportunities and investment scales in the informatization construction of tobacco enterprises, and proposed specific solutions based on the tobacco business model to enhance decision-making efficiency, continuously optimize management, production activities, and marketing capabilities.

As an important partner of Huawei, Chinasoft International also delivered a keynote speech. Luo Xu, Vice President of Chinasoft International's Distribution Business, proposed that Huawei's integrated business in the tobacco industry is fundamentally about integration, including the integration of solution services, application integration with Huawei's IaaS, the integration of big data BI platforms with Huawei's IaaS, the integration of secondary development based on IaaS in the tobacco industry, the migration of tobacco applications to Huawei's cloud platform, and the integration of software and hardware based on the CPS platform, among six major integrations. Luo Xu stated: "Chinasoft International will further deepen cooperation with Huawei, focusing on jointly launching more innovative products and solutions tailored for tobacco customers to help them achieve greater commercial success."

Finally, Pang Chensu addressed concerns from tobacco customers and partners regarding product development, channel policies, brand promotion, and service guarantees. Representatives from various sectors at this sub-forum fully affirmed the positive significance of this dialogue in promoting the informatization construction of the tobacco industry and expressed hope to work with Huawei to play a greater role in the construction of digital tobacco and smart factories.

In addition to the fruitful sub-forum, the exhibition hall featured a tobacco exhibition area centered around the theme of "digital tobacco and smart factory construction," mainly targeting the critical period of tobacco informatization integration, showcasing overall solutions for the tobacco industry based on cutting-edge technologies such as big data analysis, cloud platforms, and agile networks, allowing visitors to gain a more intuitive understanding of Huawei's strength in the tobacco industry, attracting considerable attention.

In the future, Huawei will be committed to working with partners to provide stable and high-quality solutions and services for tobacco industry customers. If 2014 was the inaugural year for Huawei in the tobacco industry, then in the next three to five years, Huawei will set sail towards its goals.
