The XPOD from Epuffer is a disposable pod device that comes in three flavors: mango, tobacco, and mint. The device features a built-in 280mAh non-rechargeable battery, a 1.2ml e-liquid capacity, an 18mg salt nicotine concentration, and a coil resistance of 2.7 ohms.
The appearance of the Epuffer device is not much different from conventional pod devices, but its actual size is more compact and lighter. An XPOD weighs about 12g, made of hard plastic with a matte black finish, and distinguishes flavors by different colored logos.
The XPOD's mouthpiece design is very comfortable and ergonomically designed, allowing users to easily hold the pod in their mouth without needing assistance from their fingers.
For a disposable pod, the XPOD performs excellently, providing users with a great mouth-to-lung experience without producing too little vapor. The XPOD delivers a satisfying throat hit and a warm vapor inhalation experience. It has a tight mouth-to-lung draw, and there have been no issues with leaking or spitting, with the coil performing consistently well.
That said, I still find it hard to use the XPOD as my primary device, but I am happy to carry it around when going out or traveling. Typically, disposable pods have performance limitations, but the XPOD's performance is good enough to rank among the top tier of similar products. According to information from the official website, the XPOD can support around 300 puffs.
Flavor Descriptions
Mint (Blue) – Without a doubt, mint is my favorite of the three flavors. Users can experience a refreshing mint aroma with a hint of sweetness, and the throat hit is more cool than harsh. Although mint is a very simple flavor, the experience is excellent; even if you usually don't like mint, I believe you will be attracted to this mint pod.
Tobacco (Red) – The tobacco flavor provides a very unique and intense taste experience, reminiscent of a mixed tobacco flavor – the vapor has hints of the taste found in tobacco e-liquids, but users will experience a strange flavor that combines burnt tobacco with notes of perfume or soap.
Mango (Yellow) – The mango flavor experience is also quite unique, presenting a blend of mango, tobacco, and mint aromas, with the mango flavor being less sweet, resembling that of an unripe green mango. Personally, I find it hard to adapt to this mango-flavored pod.
In summary, the XPOD can be considered a very useful pod device, but unfortunately, only one flavor suits my taste, and users cannot purchase the mint flavor pod separately, so I cannot recommend this product. The experiences of the mango and tobacco flavors are not friendly. However, if Epuffer decides to sell single-flavor pods separately, I would be very willing to recommend it to those looking for a disposable pod device.
