China’s First E-Cigarette Expo to Be Held in Shenzhen in April
"With 300 million smokers and traditional cigarette sales reaching nearly 1.2 trillion yuan, if e-cigarettes capture 5% of the domestic traditional tobacco market, the market capacity would be nearly 60 billion yuan," said the head of Creative Era Exhibition.
Against this backdrop, from April 15 to 17 this year, the Shenzhen International E-Cigarette Industry Expo (ieCie) will collaborate with the Shenzhen E-Cigarette Association, industry media, and upstream and downstream enterprises in the e-cigarette industry to create the first domestic e-cigarette industry event. Government officials, media, investment institutions, and professional buyers will be invited to participate, helping e-cigarette companies tap into China's 10 billion yuan market.
Currently, over a hundred e-cigarette companies, including Yunduan, SMOK, and New Yikang, have booked exhibition spaces in Shenzhen. The expo will also host an e-cigarette themed conference, product awards, exhibitor showcases, and new product launches as value-added service segments.
China is a major e-cigarette manufacturing country, and Shenzhen is home to numerous e-cigarette manufacturers, providing over 95% of the world's e-cigarettes. Statistics show that including the world's largest e-cigarette manufacturers, there are thousands of e-cigarette production companies in Shenzhen, making it advantageous to hold an international e-cigarette industry expo there.
