The Nova device is a new product from the highly praised Geekvape company, known for its popular atomizers like Ammit, Griffin, and Zeus. They have also released several mod devices, including the Aegis, Aegis Legend, and GBOX bottom-feeding mod, all of which have left a deep impression on users.

The Nova is a dual 18650 battery mod with a maximum output power of 200W, featuring a large color screen and a vibrant resin panel. Can it continue the success of its predecessors? Let's take a closer look.

When players first hold the mod, they will be impressed by its design, with a beautiful color screen and a moderate size. The craftsmanship of the mod is also outstanding, with a satisfying paint finish. Geek Vape NOVA Dual Battery E-Cigarette Review
The menu system of the mod is similar to other Geekvape mods, simple to use and feature-rich. The color screen displays the battery level of a single cell, and all the information players need is neatly arranged on the screen. The mod uses a magnetic battery cover, which works excellently. Overall, the Nova mod leaves a very positive impression on players.

It is clear that the Nova has been carefully designed and crafted, appearing to blend the popular mod design styles of the past with modern design language, maintaining a wonderful balance between the two different design eras. Most players are likely to appreciate its appearance. The Nova's minimalist design style easily reminds one of the classic Sigelei 150, but the Nova is more compact and refined, making it more comfortable to hold.

The front of the Nova features a high-quality, high-brightness color screen, while the sides are designed with a resin panel. The back of the mod has a small groove for easy battery cover removal, and installing and removing the batteries is very easy.

Weighing in at 120g, the mod is not heavy for a dual-battery device, yet it feels solid in hand. While it may not withstand massive impacts like the Aegis Legend, it is sturdy enough for daily use. The fire button has no wobble, and the quality of the 510 contact points is excellent, with no issues during use. Overall, the Nova is a simple yet durable mod.

The Nova features power mode and supports temperature control modes for Ni200, Ti, and SS, along with TCR and Bypass modes. Almost everything you need can be found in the Nova. Some preheat options should also be quite good, but since it has a power curve mode, the preheat function becomes less important.

In my testing, I used a Sony VTC5A battery, and while the official maximum output power is stated as 200W, no voltage or current parameters were provided. In actual tests, the mod can provide a maximum output power of 232W, slightly exceeding the 200W limit, confirming that the mod does not have inflated parameters. The maximum current during testing was 41A, which is the average for dual-battery mods, but this test was conducted at a resistance of 0.12 ohms and an output power of 204W, so the actual maximum current may be even higher than the test value. Geek Vape NOVA Dual Battery E-Cigarette Review When using a resistance of 0.63 ohms, I obtained a voltage output of 12.097V, which is quite impressive for a dual-battery mod, thanks to its excellent boost circuit. In terms of output performance, the Nova is an absolute powerhouse, leaving a strong impression on me.

Interestingly, many dual-battery mods require a very narrow resistance range to achieve maximum output power, typically only between 0.14-0.17 ohms, while the Nova behaves like a beast, achieving the maximum output power of 200W across a range of 0.12-0.63 ohms. No other mod I have tested has reached this level.

The mod can quickly adjust to 100W or higher in 1W increments, greatly saving players time when adjusting power parameters. Below 100W, the default adjustment unit is 0.1W, but when you hold down the adjustment button, it will quickly adjust to your desired power value in 1W increments.

During testing, the mod consistently maintained a low operating temperature, even when pushed to its limits, it did not overheat. The output accuracy is also quite good, but the actual output power will always be slightly higher than what is displayed on the screen, so I recommend players lower their usage by about 10W when using the Nova. #p#分页标题#e#Geek Vape NOVA Dual Battery E-Cigarette Review
I was not impressed with the temperature control performance of previous Geekvape mods, but the Nova performs much better in temperature control mode. While it may not deliver the outstanding performance of a DNA chip, the Nova's temperature control performance ranks among the top in its price range. The mod's temperature control function is relatively accurate, though it may be slightly weak, but within the 450-500F temperature range, it provides a warm vapor experience, with smooth heating and excellent dry-burn protection. Players can also adjust the power to change the temperature control mode's heating curve. Overall, the Nova's temperature control function performs very stably.

The Nova may bring Geekvape a new success. While the previous Blade and Aegis Legend were also great, the Nova shows significant improvements, with a new chip that stabilizes the mod's temperature control function. Previous Geekvape mods had shortcomings in temperature control, but the Nova has completely overcome this issue while remaining fierce in power mode.

So far, the Nova is likely to become the best mod device of 2018. What do you think of this new Nova? Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments below.
