When the charging cable is plugged in — the white LED turns on, accompanied by a 100 ms device vibration; while charging — the white LED pulses in a brightening and dimming cycle; when the charging cable is unplugged — the white LED flashes 3 times; when charging is complete — the white LED stays solid.

RELX 2nd Generation Alpha usage status

Normal inhalation — the white LED gradually lights up; battery level below 30% — the red LED appears; battery nearly depleted — the red LED flashes 10 times.

Reasons why the RELX 2nd Generation Alpha LED flashes 3 times:

1. Over-puff protection: if a single puff lasts longer than 5 seconds, the device activates a protection mechanism to prevent the user from choking, and the red LED flashes 3 times.

2. Overcurrent protection: when charging ends, if the charging cable is pulled out too forcefully or plugged/unplugged carelessly, the device indicator may flash 3 times as a self-protection mechanism, with the white LED flashing 3 times.

3. Overheat protection: if the inhalation time is too long and the Alpha device overheats and cuts off, this is a self-protection mechanism of the device, and the red LED flashes 3 times.
