RELX 5th generation vs. YOOZ e-cigarette: which is better? Side-by-side review
I have been a smoker for over a decade. This time, I purchased both RELX and YOOZ for a comparison review.
Why choose these two brands? I think they are quite representative. RELX has consistently topped the sales charts for e-cigarettes on major e-commerce platforms.
As for YOOZ? As the e-cigarette brand of Luo Yonghao, it has been a popular product since its launch, with sales closely following RELX. So how do these two e-cigarettes compare? Let me try them out and share my most intuitive feelings.

Appearance: They are comparable, but RELX appears slightly larger, and the grip and portability are a bit less convenient than YOOZ.
Vapor: RELX produces significantly more vapor.
Throat Hit: YOOZ has a noticeably stronger throat hit.
Battery Life: Both devices have similar battery life; charging for an hour and a half ensures you won't worry about running out of power during the day.
E-liquid: The e-liquids tested are all original ones from the packages, but it's important to note that YOOZ's e-liquid quality control is really poor, with unpleasant flavors and occasionally a burnt taste. Additionally, browsing their flagship store, there aren't many flavor options available. RELX's e-liquid is much better, with good flavor and a smooth vaping experience.
Review: In fact, both products have very good vape pens. However, YOOZ really needs to improve its e-liquid quality control. Because the flavor is a very important consideration in determining the quality of a vape. E-cigarettes are meant to replace smoking, but they cannot completely eliminate the need for nicotine; quitting smoking relies on willpower to break the body's nicotine dependency.
I used to smoke a pack and a half a day, so I had severe pharyngitis. Now that my pharyngitis has improved and I no longer have phlegm, I find that while I can't quit smoking entirely with e-cigarettes, I can completely avoid smoking traditional cigarettes, and even the smell of them is uncomfortable for me.
