Which Is More Harmful to the Human Body: Vaping or Traditional Cigarettes?
E-cigarettes have become a well-known brand, but the most frequently asked question is which is more harmful: RELX e-cigarettes or traditional cigarettes?
Are e-cigarettes really better than traditional cigarettes?
Today, let's discuss the differences between e-cigarettes and traditional cigarettes.
In traditional cigarettes, one well-known component is "tar," which accumulates in a layer of brown oily substance in the cigarette tip during smoking. In simple terms, this is tobacco oil, which contains various complex carcinogens and substances like phenols and fumaric acid that promote cancer. This is the main reason why long-term smokers suffer health issues. Each cigarette contains about 25mg of tar, which, aside from its carcinogenic hazards, also accelerates the hardening of blood vessels in the body. In contrast, the oil in RELX e-cigarettes mainly consists of PG, VG, nicotine, and flavoring agents. It is vaporized through an electronic heating device, releasing a large amount of vapor during the process, simulating the effect of tobacco combustion. Therefore, e-cigarettes do not burn and do not produce harmful substances, making them relatively healthier than traditional cigarettes in this regard.

However, it is important to note that the harm of e-cigarettes mainly comes from their nicotine content, which can lead to dependence with long-term inhalation, similar to traditional cigarettes. Compared to traditional cigarettes, RELX e-cigarettes do not undergo combustion, thus do not contain tar and carbon monoxide produced from incomplete combustion, posing less harm to the human body and are considered harm-reduction products. However, the reduced harm of RELX e-cigarettes does not mean they are absolutely safe. Due to the nicotine in the oil, minors and non-smokers should stay away from them, and for those who already smoke and are addicted, it is advisable to quit smoking as soon as possible for your health.
