What’s the difference between YOOZ Gen 1 and Gen 2? With strong market recognition for the Zero Gen 2, this article compares the two generations in design and overall user experience.
What’s the difference between the YOOZ Gen 1 and Gen 2 vaping devices? YOOZ has grown rapidly this year, and there is no doubt that the ZERO Gen 2 product has received extremely strong recognition in the market. So compared with the YOOZ Gen 1, what exactly is different about the YOOZ Gen 2?

YOOZ ZERO Gen 2 device
- Material: alloy metal texture
- Battery capacity: 380mAh, long battery life (among compact vaping devices, this is considered relatively large capacity)
- Colors: as shown in the image, there are currently 20 colors, and new colors are still being launched continuously.
- Smart features: if you take 15 consecutive puffs within 10 minutes, the device vibrates as a reminder; the indicator light changes color based on battery level to notify you of remaining power.
- Vapor performance: much better atomization and flavor than the original Gen 1 and Mini devices
- Charging port upgrade: upgraded to a Type-C charging port, the same as mainstream smartphones, so there’s no need to deal with multiple charging cables, and it also offers a longer service life.
YOOZ Gen 1 device
- Material: the same alloy metal texture
- Battery capacity: 320mAh
- Charging port: USB port
- Smart features: none
- Vapor performance: slightly worse than Gen 2
- Colors: since the Gen 1 product has already been discontinued, there are very few Gen 1 units left on the market, basically only black and gray.
- If you’re not too particular about device colors and don’t need smart features, the Gen 1 is actually still good enough for everyday use.
