RELX 4th Gen out of stock: why RELX products are in short supply

Is RELX out of stock? Many RELX flavors unavailable? Have you been told at the store that the fourth generation pods are out of stock, or that many flavors are missing?

I believe these questions are experienced by most RELX users.

Here are some possible reasons for this situation:

First, RELX's production capacity is indeed insufficient; the factory cannot produce that many products, especially since RELX occupies more than half of the domestic electronic cigarette market, leading to supply shortages. (I personally think this reason doesn't hold up; if RELX really wanted to produce a lot, they wouldn't have been out of stock for a year.)

Second, there may be national policies limiting RELX's production capacity, possibly to prevent RELX from forming a monopoly in the electronic cigarette industry. RELX may have reached an agreement with regulatory authorities to limit production capacity. (I think this reason is possible, as this industry is special and naturally requires special management.)

Third, RELX may intentionally limit the shipment volume and the quantity available to stores to prevent products from flowing into the micro-business channels. Think about it, if stores are out of stock, how can genuine products flow into micro-business channels? (This is definitely one of the reasons, as they have publicly stated this. RELX is also doing this.)

Fourth, there’s the concept of scarcity marketing, which was a tactic often used by Xiaomi to keep products in high demand, creating the illusion that even if you have money, you can't buy it. (This reason is less likely, as the industry is still developing and there's no need to cut off their own revenue.)

Finally, if RELX is really hard to find, I suggest buying products from other brands, as they are not necessarily worse than RELX and may not be out of stock, and might even be more affordable. However, it's best to buy from reputable electronic cigarette brands for assurance.
