Once the battery is deformed, the casing is damaged, or there is poor contact, these are all signs that an electronic cigarette may explode.
Electronic cigarettes are divided into semi-polymer lithium batteries and fully polymer lithium batteries, both of which can explode. Due to their semi-liquid internal structure, a short circuit can cause the voltage to rise due to external heating, leading to excessive internal pressure and resulting in combustion and explosion.
Compared to traditional cigarettes, the vapor from e-cigarettes does not contain harmful substances such as tar, carbon monoxide, or carbon dioxide. The nicotine solution is aerosolized, rapidly diluting in the air, and the low-density aerosol is difficult to reabsorb, thus not producing secondhand smoke.

Note: The working principle of electronic cigarettes is different from that of traditional cigarettes. E-cigarettes achieve vaporization by atomizing e-liquid, which is a vapor-like substance, while traditional cigarettes produce smoke through combustion. There is an essential difference. If you try to smoke e-cigarettes like traditional cigarettes, you may easily choke.
E-liquids with high nicotine content can strongly irritate the throat. However, the throat hit is a standard for evaluating the quality of e-cigarettes, so many e-cigarette products simply increase the nicotine content. A good e-cigarette provides a strong throat hit, but it should be a comfortable and natural sensation, not a harsh one.
