Detailed Review of RELX 1st Gen Pod Flavors for Beginners
This review evaluates the cooling sensation (throat hit), smoothness (vapor feel), sweetness (flavor sweetness), and aftertaste. I won’t say much in the prelude, but a self-introduction is necessary: I have been vaping for 4 years and have been using RELX for 1 year, having tried almost all flavors except for the tobacco flavor.<\/span><\/p>

The coolest flavor in RELX 1st Gen, most people really can’t handle it; it’s too cool. A deep puff will make the exhaled vapor feel cold in your nose. If you vape frequently, make sure to drink plenty of warm water, or your throat will get dry, and you might even feel a foreign body sensation in your throat. When I first tried mint, I experienced this, and later went to the hospital, where the doctor said there was nothing wrong and advised me to drink more water. Who is this flavor recommended for? If you have tried green bean popsicles or watermelon and found them not cool enough, you can choose mint, but don’t vape too much in a short time, as the nicotine content is 5%, which can be overwhelming.<\/span><\/p>

Green bean and watermelon are quite similar; they are the best-selling flavors in RELX 1st Gen. The watermelon flavor is reminiscent of the bubblegum flavor from childhood. Initially, it tastes like this, but gradually it changes. Personally, I rarely vape watermelon now; the most durable flavor for me in the 1st Gen is still green bean, which tastes exactly like green bean popsicles. I still vape green bean, and the cooling sensation is just right for me, but as you vape more, the flavor becomes less intense, which is a common issue. Aside from the flavor intensity, everything else is normal.<\/span><\/p>

These four flavors are quite similar overall. You can refer to my data evaluation, all have a cooling sensation. Personally, I feel that RELX pods without cooling are not very enjoyable; they feel bland. However, the majority of 1st Gen flavors do have a cooling sensation, which I will introduce below.<\/span><\/p>
Old Ice Cream: What flavor? It’s the taste of the old ice cream sold at convenience stores during childhood. The vapor feel is similar to cucumber but slightly lower than purple sweet potato and cola.<\/span><\/p>
Ice Cream Purple Sweet Potato: A recently released flavor, it tastes like the taro ice cream from convenience stores. The first puff feels strange and unappealing, with a faint taro flavor and a small vapor feel, making it less enjoyable. It can easily become overwhelming, and since I’m not a fan of this artificial taro flavor, I didn’t enjoy it much.<\/span><\/p>
The next day, the flavor becomes much richer than on the first day, and the cooling sensation gradually becomes noticeable, similar to the other three flavors. The vapor feel is good, but you need to take big puffs, which can be a bit exhausting. Other than that, there are no major issues. Unless you like taro ice cream, I wouldn’t recommend buying it.<\/span><\/p>
Refreshing Cucumber: Since I tried it when it first came out, I haven’t vaped it again. Have you ever had cucumber-flavored chips? It smells like that, but when you vape it, it transforms into a different flavor, which is quite fascinating.<\/span><\/p>
Cola Ice: I recently got this flavor, and I think it’s quite good. It has a taste reminiscent of cola candy, but it can’t replicate the drink's flavor perfectly. The cooling sensation is milder than green bean and watermelon, so I rate these four flavors with a cooling sensation of 3 stars, and the aftertaste and sweetness are better than watermelon and green bean, making them worth recommending. The flavors I recommend are based on whether you like them; if you do, I believe they will perform well in other aspects.<\/span><\/p>

Banana Milkshake: Have you ever sneaked a sip of your child's banana milk? That’s the flavor.<\/span><\/p>
