Sinopharm Medicinal Materials Expands Into the Atomization Health Sector, Becomes a Shareholder in I

On July 22, Sinopharm Medicinal Materials Co., Ltd. and emerging electronic atomization brand ICE Blizzard signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing.

Sinopharm Medicinal Materials has made a strategic investment in ICE Blizzard, becoming one of its new shareholders. The two sides will also carry out comprehensive strategic cooperation in areas including raw material supply, product R&D, terminal channels, and industry integration, fully leveraging their respective strengths.

ICE Blizzard is an emerging electronic atomization brand. Guided by the concept of “creative atomization, herbal technology,” it focuses on the R&D and application of atomization technology in e-cigarettes and the broader health industry. In May 2021, it completed its first round of financing worth RMB 100 million, with investors including Ximeng Holdings and Zhongfu Capital.

Sinopharm Medicinal Materials is a member enterprise of China National Pharmaceutical Group. It has a well-established industrial chain, with business covering traditional Chinese medicinal herb cultivation, scientific research, processing, and sales. It has built nearly 200 standardized authentic medicinal herb bases and operates a grassroots diagnosis and treatment big data system covering urban and rural healthcare service networks.

It is reported that the two sides will work together closely in areas such as the supply of Chinese herbal raw materials, the R&D of preparation and processing for herbal atomized liquids, and wellness services.
