QUARTO Nic Salt E-Liquid Review and Experience Report

2018 was a big year for compact vape devices, and with them came many nic salt e-liquids. Like cloud-chasing e-liquids, the market offers a wide range of options, making it hard to choose. After trying several, some flavors stood out while others felt ove

2018 was the year of pod systems, and with the emergence of pods, many new e-liquids have also been released.

Like high-VG e-liquids, there are a wide variety of flavors that can be overwhelming, making it hard to decide which one to buy.

I have tried several pod e-liquids; some taste good, while others are quite homogeneous.

Unlike high-VG e-liquids, none of the pod e-liquids I tried left me feeling amazed.

I think this may be related to the structure of the pod systems and the limitations of the atomization chamber.

Thus, the requirements for pod e-liquids have shifted from the initial desire for flavor back to the basic level of smoking cessation.

Seeing the QUARTO e-liquid in this round of testing, I applied without hesitation and was lucky enough to be selected!

I have always believed that pods are meant for smoking cessation, so tobacco flavor should be prioritized.

QUARTO's packaging is quite nice, featuring a cute, short, and stout 30ml pencil bottle.

The outer layer is shrink-wrapped, with a Chinese sticker indicating the flavor and some basic information.

Produced by Shenzhen Aipusi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., the production date is in August, so it is still very fresh.

After removing the shrink wrap, this information becomes less important; the vaping experience is the key.

The front label design is quite mystical; it’s hard to categorize its style, and just looking at the pattern, it’s difficult to tell it’s e-liquid packaging.

However, the black tone is quite appealing.

The left bottle is original tobacco, 40mg; the right bottle is lucky tobacco, 35mg.

The inner packaging has English information, which I’ll skip (mainly because I don’t understand it well, haha).

The oil is clear and has a uniform color.

Lucky tobacco has a slightly darker color than original tobacco, looking more flavorful.

Let’s start with original tobacco.

Upon opening the bottle, a strong tobacco aroma is immediately noticeable, similar to most tobacco e-liquids.

You can easily identify it as a tobacco flavor, but it’s hard to discern what type of tobacco it is.

I’ve been using these two e-liquids in my pod for four days before writing down my impressions.

Since I started using pods, my pace of trying new e-liquids has noticeably slowed down, haha!

I chose the Sword and Comma devices (these two are quite convenient for cotton changes, and I’ve been enjoying using them lately).

This original tobacco left me with an impression similar to the original tobacco flavors from Salted and Yanyu. There’s a hint of traditional roasted tobacco flavor, along with a slight astringency and mild bitterness.

The inhale and exhale are smooth, with a throat hit present but not strong, making it quite comfortable.

Lucky tobacco is quite good! First of all, the name is appealing.

Upon opening, it has a more fragrant aroma than original tobacco, with not only the scent of tobacco but also a sweet aroma reminiscent of chocolate.

I can only say that this e-liquid is very enjoyable; I’ve been using it in my pod for the past few days.

It’s very smooth, and the sensation of inhaling feels like the chocolate-flavored tobacco I used to roll by hand, probably a cocoa sweetness.

This pod e-liquid does not have the astringent or dry feeling when exhaling, which I really like.

For both of these pod e-liquids, I looked up the flavor descriptions after trying them.

The merchant's description states that original tobacco is meant to pair with hand-rolled tobacco,

while lucky tobacco combines vanilla and Western American tobacco, adding Virginia tobacco.

Upon further vaping, I still feel that the nutty flavor in original tobacco is not very prominent.

As for lucky tobacco, compared to vanilla, I still think it resembles cocoa more.

Everyone has their own preferences; discussing layers in pod e-liquids seems a bit too mystical, and I personally don’t quite grasp it.

My feeling is simply whether it’s enjoyable or not, and whether it can effectively satisfy cravings and replace smoking.

The throat hit of these two e-liquids is similar to that of traditional cigarettes but slightly lighter, not as intense as cigarettes.

They effectively satisfy cravings, and when using them, I noticeably smoke traditional cigarettes much less.

I personally prefer the second one, lucky tobacco, for its unique sweet aroma, which has a hint of artificial flavor, but overall, it’s very good.

This is just my personal experience; as the saying goes, everyone has their own taste.

At the end of the article, I would like to thank Lao Jing for the opportunity to find a pod e-liquid that I really like.

That’s my experience with the two tobacco-flavored pod e-liquids from QUARTO, sharing it here.
