A Sibling to the Little Yellow Bee Atomizer: MAX’ RDTA

Oumier has launched the new Maximus (Max’) RDTA, yes, it’s from the manufacturer of the Little Yellow Bee atomizer.

As soon as I got the atomizer, I really thought the yellow packaging was for a big yellow bee atomizer...

The box also indicates the size of the atomizer inside, with a 3ml e-liquid capacity, precautions, and anti-counterfeiting code.

Opening the package reveals an atomizer body, a spare e-liquid tank, and accessories like rubber rings.

The atomizer disassembly reveals a structure consisting of a drip tip, upper chamber cap, atomization chamber, atomization base, e-liquid tank, and tank bottom cap.

The drip tip part, similar to the structure of a mad dog or rabid dog drip tip, has a large groove inside that effectively prevents condensation at the entrance, and the solid workmanship also provides insulation. When inserted into other atomizers, a small hat appears~

Since it uses an 810 drip tip, you can swap it with your favorite drip tip, but be aware that the part where the drip tip inserts into the Max atomizer's upper chamber cap is quite short, so some 810 drip tips may protrude inside.

The upper chamber cap has a small logo of the Max atomizer, and the air inlet is genuinely long. Combined with the air inlet of the atomization chamber, you can adjust the size of the air inlet, with the wider section allowing for large airflow, while the narrower section is suitable for mouth-to-lung hits, enhancing the resistance. Of course, you can also have half wide and half narrow, depending on personal preference. The inner top is also designed with a dome structure to assist with condensation return, providing a certain effect of smoke gathering.

The base features a soft silicone filling hole, which is a significant highlight, allowing even a wide dropper to fit perfectly. There are four square cotton leg positions and a pressure relief hole. The double-layer structure has a genuinely large locking wire hole, making it easy to use single wire for daily use, and with the included flat locking wire screws, most players should appreciate this locking method. The Max atomizer's bottom filling hole is also large, so you don't have to worry about pure VG. The raised bottom screws are also well done, allowing for easy use with rods. The Max comes with two types of e-liquid tanks, one made of glass and the other of PEI material; personally, I prefer the glass one for its intuitive observation of e-liquid levels. The bottom cap is also printed with the Max logo and the manufacturer's information.

After reviewing the structure, let’s get to wicking and cottoning~ The Max atomizer manufacturer provides a single wire in the accessory pack, but during the heating process, I found it heats up severely, and the glass tank gets hot... It should be A1 wire; I’ll stick to my own ni80 wire. With the heat of summer, burning wires is a troublesome issue~~

Using it, I also found some commendable aspects:

Advantages include the wire design that doesn’t require flattening the wire legs like dual-post dual-hole setups, easy-to-use flat screws, adjustable air inlet, large drip tip cap, and the condensation groove design.

Disadvantages: The drip tip rubber ring is relatively loose, making the drip tip feel insecure and easy to pull on and off. The wall of the drip tip opening is too wide, which can still lead to condensation on top, and the heat resistance of the silicone filling plug needs to be tested; it can only be filled blindly with a dropper.

Overall, it’s a fantastic atomizer, not only in design philosophy but also in craftsmanship and ease of use. The flavor is subjective; everyone has different preferences, but with air inlet adjustments, you can find a flavor that suits you~

After using the atomizer for half a month, I found that during cleaning, the middle peek insulator got burnt... Be careful when wicking.
