Strike Again! Another Factory Making and Selling Counterfeit Goldreams E-Cigarettes Seized in Donggu

As the Spring Festival approaches, many lawbreakers are becoming active again, hoping to exploit the period before and after the holiday—when businesses are often distracted—to make quick money. As a result, illegal acts such as manufacturing and selling counterfeit products have once again become rampant despite enforcement pressure.

On January 6, 2021, Goldreams launched another operation under its “Hound” anti-counterfeiting campaign. The Shilong Public Security Branch raided a counterfeit manufacturing site in Chang’an Town, Dongguan, and seized a large quantity of AIRBAR products, a best-selling disposable vape brand under Goldreams. During the operation, police detained the main members of the counterfeiting ring. After investigation, the principal members were placed under criminal detention, and the primary person responsible, Lei Kangx, was placed on the online fugitive list.

However, based on recent user complaints and reports, our in-depth investigation found that many bad actors have been passing off inferior imitations as genuine products, manufacturing and selling large quantities of counterfeit AIRBAR products, misleading and deceiving consumers, and seriously harming both consumer interests and the brand’s reputation.

The “Hound” campaign will continue to stay highly alert to counterfeiting activity, wait for the right opportunities, and dismantle the full chain of counterfeit production, supply, and sales. We would like to remind all consumers not to sacrifice health and safety for low prices. Be sure to purchase genuine products with anti-counterfeit labels and codes through officially authorized Goldreams channels. We also call on industry peers to join together in rejecting counterfeit goods, firmly safeguarding corporate patents, and promoting a culture of authentic products.

We hereby issue a stern warning to all parties who, without authorization from Goldreams, illegally use our trademarks and patents or engage in the illegal manufacturing and sale of counterfeit products: immediately cease the production and sale of all Goldreams products. Otherwise, our company reserves the right to pursue legal liability in accordance with the law and to seek corresponding legal accountability for the harmful effects caused by illegal sales activities.
