An Unusual Vape Tank — TEEMO High-Vapor Tank
Today, we bring you a brand new structured product atomizer — the TEEMO atomizer.
The manufacturer is Thunderhead Creations from the USA, which also produces mods and wires. As a player, I will interpret this atomizer from a player's perspective.
Packaging

From the black and silver packaging, you can directly see the main body of the atomizer (okay, I admit this is a pseudo-unboxing). Since it opens by pulling from both ends, I was initially puzzled about how the atomizer was centered until I opened the box and saw this.
See that? The base!
It's that sincere!
The back and side have relevant anti-counterfeiting queries and some parameters of the atomizer.
304 stainless steel body, 22x24mm size, oil capacity of 2.5ml, recommended power of 25W, and some accessories.
Family photo, the spare coil is plastic-sealed, very hygienic and thoughtful.
Usage
All disassembled, the drip tip (I don’t know how you guys managed to take off that PEI cover, I really can’t figure it out), top cover, glass chamber, atomizing core, base, and airflow adjustment ring.
It’s not much different from a typical product atomizer.
But!
The most feared thing is this BUT!
In terms of details, TEEMO has really put in a lot of effort.

First, the drip tip, it has an inner stainless steel outer PEI structure, forming a C-shaped groove in the middle, similar to the dog series drip tips, which controls condensation very well. You can see in the picture that there is quite a bit of condensation in the drip tip, but it just doesn’t get sucked in, whatever.
The top cover has also been worked on a lot.
The white PEEK pad not only prevents it from being screwed too tightly, but the two small grooves on top also prevent the e-liquid from being pushed into the atomizing core when screwing on the top cover after refilling, which, although not original, is still very considerate.
The four small holes in the middle are, according to the official statement, a physical turbulence system, which sounds very high-end, but its usefulness is not very obvious.

The atomizing core is really large, comparing it with the Panda V12.
So thick... I really like it...

Fill it up! Start vaping!
Although TEEMO has four air inlets, its draw resistance is not small, probably a bit tighter than the Panda V12.
As a light lung inhale atomizer, it is quite reasonable.
But I prefer to close all the air inlets and use it as a mouth-to-lung atomizer.
One point to note is that everyone should tighten the atomizing core when screwing it in, and when screwing on the top cover, do not screw it too tightly.
Otherwise, you might end up like me.
That’s right, the atomizing core came off with the top cover.
It’s fine if there’s no e-liquid, but if there is...
Of course, this is not a big problem.
Just be careful.
Also, the airflow adjustment ring at the bottom must be installed properly, otherwise it will scratch the mod.
Why do I say TEEMO is an unusual atomizer?
Mainly because of its atomizing core.
It does not use the typical BVC coil found in most products, but rather a horizontally placed coil like those in DIY atomizers.
The large atomizing core has an anti-explosion oil net on top, as TEEMO uses Clapton wire, which can be seen from the air inlet below the atomizing core.
Of course, the main point is that this atomizing core can be rebuilt!
This is not nonsense.
Rebuilding this atomizing core is incredibly easy.
After disassembly, the atomizing core body, heating wire coil, insulating rubber ring, and positive component can be seen.

You can see that TEEMO's heating wire coil is almost indistinguishable from those in typical DIY atomizers.
So let’s start rebuilding.
I made a 24ga NI80 coil with 8 wraps, using wire from another atomizer.
Wicking.I placed the cotton through the oil inlet hole, which makes it easier...
Put on the insulating rubber ring, making sure one lead is inside and one is outside.
Finally, insert the positive component and trim the leads along the edge.
I tested it on the mod, no short circuit, OK.
Finally, trim the cotton close to the atomizing core and saturate it.
Let’s vape!
Since the cotton is directly pulled through the oil inlet hole, there isn’t much cotton inside the atomizing core, resulting in slightly lower draw resistance than before.
In conclusion,
the biggest selling point of the TEEMO atomizer is its atomizing core.
This horizontally placed Clapton coil and its ease of rebuilding indicate another direction for product atomizers.
I believe that in the future, there will be more atomizers with strong playability that can save costs if one is willing to rebuild.
